The casting directors chose him for a reason...GMM if not anything is known for their pairings and specially to have P'Waa on board with this pair, it wasn't for nothing. Both Krist and Gawin are equally matched and no one is trying to outshine one another. They are perfect in their respective roles. Krist is indeed a chaotic, messy trash fire raccoon as Kawi and Gawin is the flirty, handsome but deep guy as Pisaeng. Different CPs have different feel and this CP has the exact feel that this show needed.

I personally think casting Krist was the right choice and going by the majority of reviews online, most people are loving their chemistry and think their casting choice was great. I guess this is just down to personal opinion at the end. To me, I cannot imagine anyone else as Kawi and Pisaeng and their chemistry feels really natural.

I agree. I think Kawi will slowly understand that what he assumed about Pi was not true at all and that will make him fall for Pisaeng more. However, I do think Kawi has a bigger burden in the sense that he knows what the future holds, he is trying his best to fix things in EP 3 but he is lost and doesn't really know what he is doing. Like he said in his short monologue that no one can validate if the choices he is making is right or not so Kawi is just going in blind.
He is already starting to question if he did the right thing by pushing Pi away.

I think it was because of family pressure and also everybody kind of expected them to end up together so they eventually did, which happens more often in real life. Pear is clearly into Pi so maybe in the past Pi just went along with it later. But now Pi and Kawi have interacted, everything has changed. Maybe Kawi has always been Pi's ideal type but since they never really talked much before, nothing really came out of it.

Saw a post on twitter about both Krist and Gawin were amazing in expressing their feelings! Gawin was perfect in showing his desperation and we could truly feel Krist's confusion. Even in the scenes where they were arguing, Pisaeng's hurt and Kawi feeling bad could be felt by the audience. The casting director did such an amazing job with these two, cannot imagine anyone else play Pisaeng and Kawi. Their chemistry is so natural!
And also, amazed at P'Waa's direction!

I think he meant people were upset at Kawi for hurting Pisaeng's feelings. But again, it's the part of the plot so it will have ups and downs! 😁

I agree with this. Honestly, I would be spooked too if someone I didn't love suddenly kissed me. So while for Pisaeng nothing happened yet, for Kawi he has witnessed what can happen. Again, he doesn't know how to deal with such situations because he never had anyone in his life before. He definitely needs time to sort out his feelings and to realise the importance of Pi in his life.

To people feeling upset about Pisaeng's heart breaking, this is the plot where one ML loses the other ML to realise their worth. As much as it hurt to see Pisaeng sad, this was needed for Kawi to get a little push. He has admitted before that he has no friends so he judges everyone from his perspective. This episode we saw that. He wanted to push Pisaeng away but he pushed too hard. I am sure the redemption & falling in love arc will be extra sweet 😍😍

Yea shipping is okay as long as people don't really think they are together or start being toxic abt it. Like they are a CP now so they need to sell the CP. They are really comfortable together as good friends. So far I have only seen fans be involved in healthy shipping. No one is being toxic or delulu.
