After reading the synopsis, the drama plot looked identical to "The story of Kunning Palace" so I considered skipping this one for that reason and because every single historical drama lately is "time travel" or "isekai" themed, its getting super boring with these predictable stories. HOWEVER, since its only 20 minutes long, I decided to "waste" 20 minutes of my time to check the first episode and I'm glad I did because that plot twist at the end was everything!!!
What did I expect ?? For both of them to become emperors, marry and unite their kingdoms SKSKSKSKSKSKSKKSKSK Still what is happening and what will happen is breaking my heart!!
1) Bon Apetite your majesty so far its good but I kinda want more food less drama but I'll take it for now. 2) Confidence queen : decided to not watch it now, not in the mood for another con artists drama! 3) Queen mantis: currently my favorite airing drama and I only watched 2 episodes lol 4) Twelve : waiting for the finale to binge it. idk what to expect but since its fantasy, i'm in! 5) Beyond the bar : it was flat like a dead man's heart beat. I'm glad it only had 12ep! 6) Marry kills people: on the waiting list ...
These streaming platform piss me offff!! They always hold onto dramas for years until they become outdated then release them to flop because they don't fit the current trends ..
I was side eyeing the first episode so so hard because I thought they'll make the entire drama about the copycat killer while the female serial killer stays in prison but they actually didn't!!! I have never been THIS happy before lol From the few clips we've seen in this first episode, the mom gave me the chills ngl !! That interaction between her and her son when she was narrating how she gave birth to him.. holy shit!!! That was insane. I need more of that please!
1. If he did rape him then proceeded to court him to make him his bf using the "I was drunk" excuse without telling him what happened that day just so he can lift some of the guilt, I hope the writers go to hell for this!!!!!!!!
2. If he did not rape him then he should've stayed away from him. He's a victim who for some reason doesnt have any recollection of what happened that night, maybe because of the trauma he experienced so his brain decided to block that memory or he was drugged. Either ways, knowing that the brother is accusing him of raping his brother, he should've stayed away until the problem is fully resolved and the truth is uncovered.
3. imo, the brother is the worst! Why is he letting his brother hang out with his alleged rapist??? And then proceed to let a stranger tell his brother that he was raped while asleep in front of everyone while his alleged rapist was around!!!! What were they thinking ???? Everyone involved deserve a beating for what they did to him.
The FL is the type of character who survives horror movies. All she wants is to avoid conflict, eat and live! I'm really digging this drama so far. Side note, shout out to the make up artists for not over exaggerating with the ML's eye make up!
This drama is not hitting the spot for me!! I feel like they cast the wrong actress to play a demanding character like a general leading an ARMY, she just simply doesn't have that aura around her so it's hard to really believe that she can lead an entire army. You see, this is where I find Chinese dramas lacking. The actors don't even look like they fit the characters they are playing. They could've made her look taller, make her gain weight and muscle, put her in a suit, ..etc to fit the physique of a military man. At least the ML has some muscles going on and he's not the usual skinny model playing soldier..
ngl I'd watch it if the characters were swapped! A female psychiatrist serial killer ?? I'll be down for that for sure. Serial killers being always men in dramas is becoming predictable and boring. PS: I know female serial killers are rare but since its fiction, we might as well go all in XD
an expensive ass disappointment is what this series is LOL The chemistry was lacking between the two stars of the show. Their scenes felt way too choreographed ngl even when they were alone. Idk about yall but I would take Cutie Pie The Series over this one anytime anywhere !!
