Yan Tuo's mother said it was an accident and that she just pushed her. There is a high possibility that Ms Lin deliberately died in order to blackmail Yan tuo's mother and Yan tuo's family. Why was a plug there in the water?. Ms Lin was a helping around in the house. She probably set up everything, used Yan Tuo's mother emotional state and set the stage for her own death. My original question is why it seen as difficult labor or mistreatment when ML does those things but when a woman does it, there is an opinion that it is what she should be doing. Cooking, cleaning, washing dishes. Every human should know how to do these things. However, society think it is the woman's job. Women have been cooking, cleaning for centuries, that is fact. That is why writers go out of their way to show a Male lead actually help with those things. Because usually they are not expected to those things nor forced to do those things. Because usually in society woman a forced to those things.
So male lead helping in those is the writers way of showing, first he actually can look after his own self. And that he is open minded and kind and does not think cooking and cleaning is a woman's job.
I don't know which dramas you have been watching but for me when I see the male lead do that for the female lead he actually wants to help and wants to treat her well. Wanting to do that is not a bad thing. And receiving that care doen't make female lead bad or mean person.
I don't care who falls first. What matters is that they treat each other kindly. And I am all for ML cooking and cleaning for once, it doesn't make that female lead a tyrant. It's just a male lead showing care.
I am sorry what is wrong with ML doing cooking, cleaning and washing dishes for once. Women have been doing those things the for centuries. I assume, you haven't watched this drama yet. But the FL actually cares about him too. It is a mutual bond and a strong friendship is even building. Personally I don't care if it is the FL or ML who falls first. It's not supposed to be a power battle. For me, what matters is the leads have great chemistry and they have an incredible emotional connection to each other, that's all that matters for me.
Really enjoying this drama. The way the main leads are falling for each other 🥰🥹. Really love seeing them becoming so close and relying on each other. So sweet!
