Completes your 2024!! Drama is satisfying and worth the wait!
This should be one of my 2024's best drama! The act of revenge, the schemes and the mind blowing scenes will kept u hook up! Out of curiosity, I watched this and didn't expect it to get better and better each episodes and was forced to subscribe just so can watch the latest eps.Not to mention I got obsessed w/ Duke Su/Xiao Heng!!!!
Besides, the drama reminds me of the novel 'The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage' by Qian Shan Cha Ke.. same slow-paced romance, same revenge theme, same clever FL and cunning protagonists. Duke Su reminds me so much of Xie Jing Xing in the novel!
I would very much recommend the novel (available in Wattpad/Boxnovel.com) if you're into this genre.
Back to the drama, undeniably the cast's acting and editing is superb! Overall, i give this a 10 and will definitely rewatch! Kudos to all actors and director!

Most underrated drama but it's 2020's best one!
I have little expectation of this drama and thought it would be boring. I watched this with little interest but this drama adaptation turns out to exceed my expectations!Although the casts aren't well-known, but they portrayed their characters well. My favorite would be Chu Ying! The character development of the characters are also satisfying.
There is no romance in this drama (w/c i liked!) but bromance u can get enouf of it. The friendship and bond is strong .. they value their relationship and help each other to not give up.
I dare say, this made my 2020 complete! As someone who's sceptical from live action dramas adapted from anime, it's totally unexpected and worth watching!

Action-packed and the chemistry so strong! Must watch series!
Would give this 10/10!Ultimate Note is the sequel of The Sound of Providence. However, compared to it, this one is action-packed and the chemistry so strong.
XYL did the best in acting as ZQL! He portrayed ZQL's character so well it leaves me in awe everytime I rewatch the clips.
One thing to note is the choice of casts. From the casts of Wuxie and Zhang Qiling to Hei Ye and Xiao Hua, the visual impact leaves me wanting more of their screen time.
The bromance is solid as well. Their friendship is strong and it's one of the best that got me attached to this series.
Overall, it's a must watch drama and i recommend this w/ the rewatch value of 10! You'll never regret watching it!

96 episodes is worth it!
(WARNING: Just don't watch if u just gonna criticize it! This drama is based on Wu Mei Niang/ Empress Wu Zetian rl story! Had to have knowledge of history!)*Characters -the acting is well done and there was hardly any cringy acting. Ofc, as a FBB fan, her acting here is topnotch! The way she portrayed an empress is explosive!
*OST- opening song shows the strong Chinese dynasty!
*Production -make-up, costumes is gorgeous and the scenery is beautiful! A sumptous feasts for the eyes!
Overall, the series was beautiful and stunning. One of the best historical drama w/ the soundtrack, costumes, filmography and plot! 96 episodes is worth it!

Thrilling spy drama set in the Republican era!!
(Note: Will keep my review short.. but I definitely recommend this drama to anyone interested in spy genres)This is adapted from the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Set in the Republican era, the couple embark in a journey full of danger and thrill. Ngl, the chemistry between them is so strong and their acting is natural. I love how both use each other to overturn dangerous situations and continue being a spy.
Rewatch value 10. I would love to watch this again!

Justice not served!! Ending plot is complete bs!
Have a couple of comments regarding this but will just list a few. (Note: I even subscribe just to watch diz )*Intro OST suits well for the thriller and added it to my playlist
*Acting- ngl, SWL acting was wooden and emotionless!! He's not up as the ML in diz one.. everyone did better than him!
On the other hand, Wang Duo, oh dear! Such phenomenal acting as expected from him. 6666!!
*Bromance - not much since the drama suffered heavy cuts due to censorship. But, i enjoyed more of Lan Jue's friendship w/ Hong Yao and Shulin.
*Plot- it started rly good and got me hooked up w/ it's mysterious twist and turn plots. But in the last 5episodes, things just got worse(imo). Shulin was a 'good guy' gone bad due to the Dowager! I feel rly bad and sour for Shulin-- they shud'v done justice for him!
What a worst revenge-plot!
Zhang Ping actually told lies for the Dowager is pure bs! I'm so disappointed and can only give this an 7-rate w/c is still considered high.
*Rewatch Value- low as I have trouble finishing this. When I've known Shulin's injustice ending, I'm so disappointed and mad. So, altho I kinda like this, but I WONT REWATCH as other great dramas still waiting.
(LOL, got carried away and had to express some dissatisfaction. It doesn't help that i'm vry fond of Wang Duo! Call me bias but the plot ending is bs!)

Slow-paced but the twist and turns will leave a deep impression!
Ngl, this took me longer to finish as first episode's so slow-paced and boring. Therefore, one may need to have more patience w/ the earlier episodes so that u can enjoy the later ones. Drama is very heavy on the politics, and light in romance, yet it has a heart touching love story between ill fated couples.*Characters- all were highly complex. The Emperor, Consort Min---
But what intrigues me the most is the Empress and Lang Kun's story!
*Production - costumes, ost and make-up is good
This is undeniably a good drama and the twist and turns will leave a deep impression.

Best Historical Drama of 2023!
This is perfect!The chemistry is way too strong! Episode 1 started rly good then way up to ep12 and i can't wait for next episodes to air!
Performance: Both main leads are very well suited for their roles. They brought the characters into life. The sword play and fighting scenes were epic!
The roller coaster's of plot definitely brings out mix emotions. They make u laugh, smile, sad, annoyed, angry and cry. Excellent casts not just the ML's but evn supporting characters did well. Kudos to this production!
I dare say that this is the BEST historical drama of 2023!!
Rewatch value- definitely 10!
