Drama so good i had to look up the screenwriter. I wonder if she'll write another drama.

What does that have to do with them ignoring it??

Enough time has passed that i may have forgotten most of the plot so time to rewatch it

Yes, it bothered a lot of people but i remember when this drama was released nobody was allowed to say anything bad about the drama. If you did, you would be labeled a 'hater'. It was honestly crazy

I wasn't even expecting realism but they did not even address it. They just moved past it

His daughter bleed too much from the hit she took to the head to just be walking around like nothing happened. Like not even a hospital checkup??

The first episode was a snooze to get through but from episode 2 it starts to get kind of good. I found myself actually enjoying the series. Then they decided to spend 3 episodes on a cooking competition and that's where they started losing me. Anytime they showed the King taking a bite of a food for the umpteenth time and then they would do those food transitions, i found myself sliping a little from reality. Them showing it in the first couple of episodes was fine but then they just refused to stop. They would do it over and over and over again and it just got a little too much.

Then they tried to cram so much within the last 20 mi nutes which is insane. They spent 3 episodes on a competition and then 20 minutes or less on their reunion in the present day. That was just crazy.

I find the ggeomeoksali thing gross and weird looking. I know the merch related to it will soon be inescapable.

Its really just okay. Nothing special about it.

I enjoyed this drama a lot, it was a bit funny and not too heavy, and all the actors were really good.

However, if i had an issue with the drama it would be the romance. Where did it suddenly come from? I understand that they probably planned to include it at some point but deciding to just drop it in the last episodes without any previous romantic connection was definitely a choice and it was a bit jarring to say the least.

At first, i thought it was more of a means to an end sort of thing. But then they kept bringing it back again and again and that's when i realized that they were really serious.

I thought their dynamic would be more found family than romantic interests but maybe it was just me who couldn't read between the lines. Also, i guess there's only so much that can be done with 8 episodes.

I'm not talking about the filing of the report, I'm talking about when he was talking to his ex girlfriend(?) on the staircase. Someone saw them there and I'm guessing its Joon In Ah, that's why she moved him to the misconduct team (team 3) and she told him that he was perfect for the job despite just meeting him and also the fact that he was already an ace in team 1. But this is my speculation, that's why I'm going to keep watching to see how it goes

I love love love love Shin Hae Sun and also Gong Myung ( i watched a drama of his and since then I've been a fan) but what i absolutely cannot stand in my years of watching kdramas is the "misunderstanding" trope. Where either of the main the characters sees the other doing something and then jumps to conclusion about what was seen and then the misunderstanding is dragged through mud till it gets annoying and unbearable. In fact i cannot count how many dramas I've dropped because of it.

Buuuuutt, I'm willing to give this a couple more episodes to see how it goes because i actually enjoyed watching this episode.

I thought I was going crazy when I watched it and it ended up being a train wreck and most people were still calling it a 'masterpiece'

While I can go out and watch something I like, I'm also allowed to comment on things I watched and hated, that's how the world works. Also how am I supposed to know whether I hate or like something without watching it, and if I hate it I'm allowed to comment on it same goes for if I like it.

I cannot believe people actually like this. The fact that people do is mind-blowing to me. There really is a whole other world out there.
