I can't agree with your comment in the last para. sure it sounds very fair and cool but in reality it could be…
It's fine if you don't agree but that's what i want to happen. Because i already live in a reality where vigilantes don't exist and terrible people get away with doing terrible things while also profiting off less privileged people so if someone comes out and has a way to solve all these problems even if its by taking all those terrible people out, best believe I'll definitely take it.
I just love the way no time was wasted on Ji Young's childhood. Like sure his childhood was traumatic and that was what led him to become a vigilante but we've seen stories like that in kdrama a thousand and one times. And I'm definitely rooting for him and even the psycho CEO.
I honesty wish there was something like vigilantes irl that would just take out all these rotten criminals and politicians, i feel like i would sleep better at night.
This is a really amazing drama. The plot, actors and everything else was top-notch. I can't believe i was skeptical about watching this drama, the hype around it is well earned. Also, too bad with everything going on with YAI, he's one of the few Korean actors that can really act.
This drama was really a roller coaster ride. Amazing drama but the end was not it for me. I was not a fan of how the story was concluded, both for Kyung Min and Jung Suk. I did not want it to be a happy ending, i just wanted everyone to pay for what they did. Apart from that, i was spellbound by the drama. Also the actors did not come to play at all especially the younger actors.
I have seen people comparing this drama to The Glory and Weak Hero Class 1, these dramas are all amazing dramas in their own right. While these dramas have similarities, it cannot be expected that they would all end the same way. The rinse and repeat plots that are common in romance kdramas does not need to bleed into thrillers.
I avoided last week episode because i wanted to watch the last 2 episodes together. Imagine my surprise when i realised that last week's episode was not uploaded.
She sees the way her step sister treats her, why does she think it will be any different with the brothers. Brothers who are dragging a big successful company. Like lets put our thinking hat on babes
We don't know that for sure. We saw them hug and that's it. Do they resolve their differences and work out how they can have a relationship while Doona still having her career? Those questions are literally hanging in the air.
What was with that God-awful ending?? Writers who give their dramas ambiguous endings are cowards who are too scared to give a sad ending. I was enjoying the drama until the end. With how it ended, i would not have minded if he ended up with Jin Ju and Doona was just happy living her idol life.
When people kept saying it had old kdrama vibes i did not understand it until i watched it. I watchee the first 2 episodes and its honestly so interesting. Will definitely be seated for the rest lol.
Paying to have your friend killed, the same friend you thought killed someone for you, was just straight up gutter behaviour. They all did really well. The only thing i did not like was how Su An died. Besides that it was all really good. Amazing drama.
Netflix needs to make better subtitles. While watching it, it was like i was reading something different and hearing a totally different thing. Now I'm by no means fluent in Korean but I've watched a lot of dramas and the meaning of some words and sentences have stuck so imagine my shock when I'm watching this drama and reading a different thing in the subtitles. Sometimes the error was mixing up 'guardian' with 'sibling' and a character saying 'grandmother' and the subtitle saying 'dad'. It goes on and on and on.
