This drama should be titled: Immortal samSNORA/ immortal samSORRY/ immortal samSLUMBER~~
The second part picks up exactly where Part 1 left off.
Now, considering how painful the first season became towards the end, I went into this one carrying a tiny spark of hope. Maybe this part would address some of my grievances. Maybe the pacing would improve. Maybe the characters would finally start using the cranial and magical powers a little.
Maybe.
But none of that happened.
In fact, somehow, this season managed to be even messier and less rewarding.
One thing I did appreciate was YY. Even after regaining his memories, he continues to acknowledge his feelings for YD. No unnecessary amnesia drama, no "I must deny my feelings cause I have to save the world " BS*. He knows whom he loves, and he's determined to make things right. He's even ready to renounce his godhood and leave everything behind for his beloved.
Sounds romantic, doesn't it?
Well...
The execution was about as exciting as watching paint dry.
Bro, you are a literal Heavenly God.
A GOD.
Why are you standing there looking mildly concerned while the villain casually destroys evidence right in front of you?
Do something!
Shoot lightning.
Freeze time.
Throw a mountain.
Pull out some ancient divine technique hidden in your sleeve.
Anything.
Instead, his entire strategy seems to be:
1. Arrive.
2. Look worried.
3. Say, "This can't continue."
4. Continue letting it continue.
At some point I stopped feeling frustrated, His approach is so passive that i ...🥱🥱🥱🥱🥱.
So...I dropped it at Episode 10. I simply couldn't do it anymore. Apparently Life is short. My watchlist is long. Besides, I already know how this is going to end. ML and FL die in the final episode so there is exactly nothing to look forward to.
So yes, I'm stepping off this train.
