My friend if you want to creat something new . Do not market it as vague ties to ALP to get people tp watch. Alp built a world a nd characters and there is context to yuemi snd tianqi . Not this travesty. Same with tli ...that was absolute garbarge. Especially just making 2 true gods. The nonsense hear is anazing. Tianqi is not even a true god here and seems regated to a demon lord amongst other demon lords. Yuemi is wanting to immortal not a god. The world building znd context given to situations and motivations is not there. The character depth is not there. This junk is selling vague references to ALP and bai lu prettyness. In my opinion she is scrawny...and i would not recommend waycjing this. If the marketed it a totally new idea and story i might have thought of watching it but watching alp and then seeing this will be a travesty if you want to vaguely link it and then not have have any of the context world building and character depth that the original novel as sequel had to alp.

Yes the novel has been translated. Just type song of youth in google. The novel gives far more depth to the characters. Sets up plot point so important parts work. And the romance makes sense and shows why for example xiao se comes to love sikongs daughter. Her mischievousness . Her fighting spirit. In the pavillion arc she was going to sactifice her life for him. Hence he had the choice of goong to the 4th floor and becomong an immortal with untimate power or saving her. He chose her which shows his characters and why he was chosen for thenumber 1 sword...

The cartoon will be better was good until ep 30 then some bright spark decided to make his own story and diverges greatly from the novel which was epic...this was crap and loses its way. Most of the idiots here are wating lbgt stuff or how gorgeous the men are instead of good storyline. Which if the followed the novel would have been greatness. It divulges significantly from 35 onwards...someone decided to write their own story and it was crap...full of holes
