In the end, it's your usual GMM mediocre series.
BUT it's quite enjoyable. Don't get me wrong, it's a VERY CUTE series until certain episodes, awakening motherly feelings for me personally. At some point I really love KangMoo/SeaKeen. I'm happy that they really are a couple who communicate and their relationship is actually quite healthy.I personally don't like the second couple haha, especially since in the beginning, Potae was so dense to Yos that at some point it hurt Yos' feelings, it's just not in my taste.
I'm just kind of "???" When the series suddenly became serious as it neared the ending idk but for me it actually became boring af and I found myself skipping through the conflicts. I think this would be better if it was a cute series from the start till the end. As usual from the typical GMM: there is time skip, there is cursed episodes lol I expected it and wasn't surprised but it's okay. Overall 8/10 from me. I love the dynamics of SeaKeen and I hope there is another series from them.

Tldr; I like it. ❤️
First, it has a very good start! The first episodes are really captivating. What I like:- ofc, the chemistry between the characters
- the sexuality of the characters is clear from the start ?
- the established second pair. Oh my, I really love YeiCher relationship so much.
- finally there is an asexual character in GMM (after the asexual character in Cherry Magic was removed) ??
- discussing about safe sex even if the story is about FWB (including about vaccines)
- Yoryak didn't magically get rid of his trauma, but because he also went to a psychiatrist for therapy.
- discussing marriage equality
Overall I enjoyed the series, only the late episodes started to drag and was boring for me (I skip so many scenes). But it closed with a very beautiful ending, so okay. ❤️
GreatInn is an official cp in GMM now, I'll wait for another series from them then. ❤️

Is that all?
It's actually a fun ride, I quite like the journey following this series, I really enjoy the chemistry between the characters (especially the main couple who have been together from the start so there are lots of moments to enjoy, I'm a bit tired of the "confused phase" in BL lol) , the plot is also light and easy to follow, it's not long-winded (like some Thai BL where I dropped, usually because the long-windedness to lengthens the duration), but in my opinion overall it's just ordinary. There's no after taste. Not bad, but nothing special either. In my opinion, the conclusion about the side couple, Japan-Seiji-Ken, is too late. I like it, but it's too late. And it's like, okay, that's it?
But overall I recommend it for people who are looking for something to watch while filling their time. ?

A comfort series
I've been living with We Are for four months. I will miss this series so much. When it was announced I was like: 16 EPS WHAT ARE YOU DOING, ISN'T IT WILL BE DRAGGING MUCH??? but now I need 100 eps of this series lol.
This series is NOT for those of you who are looking for conflict. I'm really sick of reading comments "finally finished this series, the story is really boring and there's no conflict". It's really a slice of life. The story is very simple; about boys friendship and how they fell in love with each other. The conflict just goes there, it sounds boring but the execution isn't boring at all.
When I watched the first episode, I didn't know any of the actors so I wasn't biased, and wow, the character introductions were really good, I immediately remembered and was attached to the eight main characters.
While watching, you will have fun, relax with their lives. No dragging, just one simple conflict to another simple conflict. I can't stop smiling every time I watch the eps of this series. There are no cursed episodes where suddenly there is a big conflict that makes you dizzy. Literally a beautiful slice of life.
BTW, this series that made me really fall in love with PondPhuwin ? their chemistry is so cute! From episode one they really caught my attention. They're in their elements. I finished the first episode of We Are and immediately watched Fish Upon The Sky and Never Let Me Go but it still wasn't as beautiful as their relationship in We Are. If I hadn't known them during the We Are era, I don't think I would have liked them this much.
I don't have much hope, but if there is a season 2 I will be very happy, because I think there is still a lot that can be explored.
Once again, I will miss this series so much.

I love every episode.
I love every episode until I rewatched the whole thing again before watching the last episode today lol (I follow it every week). This series is really beautiful (cinematography, OST, dialogue), the plot is neat and tight, and sexy lol. I don't know why, even though all the characters are dressed in thick clothes, but the aura is still really sexy. The acting of all the actors is good (especially Senpai) and the chemistry between the MCs is also really good. The premise has actually been used by many BL (or dramas in general?); met the teen first love, when they were already adults. But I think the execution is really good. The explanation is clear and coherent, why do they behave like that when they grow up. The ending also makes you really satisfied, the last episode really answers the first episode. Miyata's gaze at Senpai at the end is the same as when he was a teenager, totally bliss. BTW, I like that they use different actors between the adult version and the teenage version; I'm a bit annoyed by dramas that use the same actors for the school and adult versions, sometimes the actors look too old to wear uniforms. My favorite is Senpai. From the start, his character is made ambiguous (both when he was a teenager and now an adult) and kind of love bombing so he looks manipulative, till the end we (and Miyata) doubt whether his love is genuine or not? But everything was answered in the last episode.
I will miss this series so much.
