Its like a completely different show. Ep 41-44 are horrible. Little red head, 3 sect leaders, and the total failure at humor make it unwatchable.

Finished! Well done show. The mains really click. The crime mysteries are, lets just say, not what you would expect, really creative. Being a retired copper, I get kinda critical of some crime shows. This show is unique in that all the creative crime work is fun, and does not require restrictions of real life investigate procedures.

Love the FL. But what is really cool...This is not a complaint about subs, its a woot! Lu just called Qiao a hillbilly. Awesome. Being a hillbilly I dig it. Hillbilly commonly a derogatory used by flatlanders/low lands peoples to label people who don't live in the low lands, Highlanders. Traditionally of Irish-Scots (Scot-Irish is wroooonng) and around before 1920, probably not a term known in China. Anywho I think it is kewl. That and "bling-bling" used to describe a thing. Hats off to the translator for Ep. 22. Now back to my binge, this show is so funny.

The Ballad of Ru Yi should be a song sung by Ju during the final days of Ru Yi last suffering. Around ep 33-34. Two times thru, Ru Yi to me is the most compelling and desperate character.

Hanna, such a pitiful life. She gets my vote for major sympathy. Your right about long time coming. Last 3 episodes finally moved it from a rating of 7.5 to 8 for me.

Profiler movies/tv suffer the same problem, time. Can't show how it goes in real life, so stories get a gloss over to meet filming needs. This felt like a gloss over. Last episode is the best. Kinda pulls the behavioral investigations into focus dealing with, imo, the best acted culprit.

I would rate this show TVPG/PG-13. 90% of the series is drama, no content concerns. There is zero nudity, romance what little there is consists of flirting and a couple pecks on the cheeks. Several fights, but they are for action not violence. Fights are sanitized, people don't die. There are couple knife fights but one cut and done. Couple running gun fights, again no one dies. The only iffy scenes are two scenes of bad guys shooting bad guys. Three dead, but Avengers movies have more traumatic scenes. Two scenes of implied or attempted sexual assualt. Again the scenes are subdued and last 2 mins in one and 20 secs in another.

Great cast. Acting top notch. Some serious soul crushing storylines. Oh Na Ra is off the chart brilliant in her character. Even when the director let his 10 grandkid mess with the camera during filming, the acting saved the sometimes crappy camera work. Binge worthy.

Lots of really good stuff. Lots of John Cleese over the top silly. ML needs a haircut. Good side stories and really good acting. Then slice in scenes that have nothing to do with the show. 50-50. Half the show really shines. Half the show gets in the way of shiny.

Ooohhh! This show really dove into the dark side. Attempted murder, murder, kidnap, running gun fight. Yanin finally gets fight scenes with real stuntmen, off the hook. She still got it. The heavy drama is great, offset with family and romance drama. The trailer park girls still got their mojo.

If you do not play whatever game or manga, it makes zero sense. It's like watching my 10 year old gkid running around pretending to be some anime hero. It's not funny.

Good show. Wait til it's completed and binge it. Waiting for on air ep kills the drama.

Hmmm. I didn't vibe on it. 2 ep and i'm out. Think it would have to be a binge and plow a couple ep to find a hook.

Hmm. I didn't vibe chemistry for romance at all. Good enough to watch. Like the cast, characters are engaging. Some clunky scenes, but i am gonna credit the director for that.

If R18 is a line you don't cross, don't watch this. It fully deserves it's rating. It is a good show. The opening to ep. 1 is outstanding. It's smooth, nothing feels forced. Good cast and directing. Zero romance, which for this show is a good thing. Last ep. really good, a touch of could be more coming.
