Because no adult has ever lost or cut contact with their family. She is an adult woman who has lived away from her family for years, she can't be a bystander if she didn't know what was happening. You don't know what went on behind the scenes wither, you have no right to decide she is guilty of anything

Thats... a very reductive view of what the story was about. The cycle of abuse and learning and healing to break from it is the entire point of his character's arc. I think you have some issues handling stories with complex characters that you need to work out instead of coming onto an actors page and commenting about how vile you think their characters are.
