sad wuxia..😕.even if main couple has a 'happy' ending, all their loved ones and closest friends met with tragic end....a story filled with deaths, betrayals, lunatic pseudo-love of many couples🤒.. i hopped through like a rabbit, because i wanted to know the overall story, but couldn't stomach the details of most scenes 🫪 many scenes were shot outdoors, which was a nice treat, also actors did a good job, but the script is too sad....imo😕 life is cheap in there, and the dialogues repeat a frase: 'we kill, so that the killing will stop,' 🫪🫪

first time I watched her performing in Love and Redemption....it was captivating🌹...very talented actress, sad,how the communist china treated this lady🤔.. who knows how it really was, did she really evade those lawful taxes, or some influencial people just created false incriminating evidence.... at least she's alive and didn't finish like Yu Menglong

I also skipped, but what I gathered in between is, the previous emperor was wenxi, so his son is crown prince wenxi (wenxi is a Nik, or a dynasty title, I suppose 🤭), something happened to wenxi dynasty, maybe a coup ?and they died.....general Xiao saved little wenxi crown prince and adopted him.... only a few people know, who Xiao Wuyi's father was

beautiful story, psychological but fun to watch😁 interesting, how each one of the characters, are coping with the situation 😊
