I went backed and looked it was episode 19 around the 30 minute mark. Changshou said he's been treating his shifu for 30 years. So there is a way to heal just extremely slowly I guess.

I believe in a prior episode Changshou was tell Yunxiao that he was slowly healing his Shifu's cultivation and if he broke out of the formation would cause everything to reset again. So Changshou found a way for him to heal/fix it if he continued the treatment for 500 years probably gained his powers back.

So jin chan learned time stop so that he could think of a way to save his loved ones. Everyone is just frozen except for the caster and the person they choose. In other words changshou was all alone for 3600 years with only jin chan to talk too.

Jin chan is a sore loser he traps all heros in time stop to see if they can figure out a solution while alone. The last hero the Quasi saint spent 500 years to make the sea calming pillar but in reality it popped out of nowhere

Its the other way around. Everything was time stopped. All the scenarios we saw was him playing it in his head. 3600 years for changshou in time stop. So once the time stop ended a second only passed in reality.

While Jin Chan traps Changshou he figures out that Fate is leading him to the disaster and tells fate he knows the truth which makes fate summon him. He decides to destory the sun dial and becomes the replacement dial so the pointer changes then from great tribulation to steady. The price is everyone forgets him its just a void in their memories someone said/did all of this but no one recalls it. Only Yunxiao remembers him because of their bond 500 years pass by. Yunxiao spent 500 years figuring out how to save him. She gathers everyone to use ling'e chaos bell to take them all back in time to save Changshou. The bell sends your current self to the past with the memories and powers intacted. Yunxiao's plan is to sacrifice herself to bring him back. Jin Chan said that there are two chosen ones so two great tribulation is supposed to happen. Yunxiao is the hero in this one so Changshou's great tribulation hasnt happened yet. The celestial emperor gives Changshou hope he can be reunited with Yunxiao by reconstructing her body from a piece of her hair. Then we get "to be continued"

He spent 500 years regaining his powers. When ling'e turned back time all she did was take their future selves and put them into the past. So everyone keep their memories and powers.

I had the same fear when they talked about reconstructing YX body. If that happens I don't think I will watch it. It has to be SZN as YX

Why didnt changshou just agree to let the grand mage reconstruction her body right now rather than reconstruction it himself which would take years probably hundreds if not thousands of years to do. Like you can be with her now who cares if you werent the one that made her body. I'm so happy the two of them love each other so dearly though he spent 3600 years to bring her back and she spent 500 years to bring him back. They are so in sync they only though of sacrificing themselves for the other person ☠️☠️☠️. Their kiss scene was so bittersweet. If there is a second season continuing from this I'll only watch if Ao Ruipeng and Sun Zhenni are back. I dont want to watch their love story happen if Yunxiao has a totally different face.

It is romance with one woman though. The others like him but he doesn't even look in their direction

Yay! I hate when I'm able to guess the plot.

Looks like Yunxiao is going to be missing for the next few episodes, like she doesn't even matter it was just a little random romance they threw in, and now it's over, so she's gone. I hope it would be some good bs or magical excuse to get Yunxiao to forgive him. I really hope Changshou learns from this that his way isn't always the right way, but you're right, it feels like nothing is serious even though all these people died; he's just going to continue his plan, and back to comedy it is.

Welp there goes the romance between the two mains no way YX is going to forgive LCS now that hundreds of her sect members died. They were a ragtag bunch of misfit and weirdos but they were like family to her. Her plan was the best kill Kuai Si and none of this would have happened. LCS also now has Ling'e living with the guilt thinking that she cause their uncles death because she didnt send jiujiu instead. I was really hoping the grand mage would resurrect everyone but nope our comedy just took a turn for the worst 😭

Why did they kill all the seizing sect members that was being mind controlled instead of rounding them up and getting gnat girl to release them from her spell. Also stupid grand mage asking ML to spare gnat girl uh no don't go dumping your problems on other people and be like its karma. nah dude's making excuses for his demon lover because he feels bad for killing her clan. Sounds like they were peaceful demons living off of the blood of the red sea and he just slaughtered them and pulled a oops wrong clan its all fate and karma I did nothing wrong. Isn't he a deity can't he resurrected all the people she harmed if he truly take accountability for all of this tragedy. But nope he pulling a top level management fake pr apology 😒 🙄.

She's more his ex-lover than pet thats why he regrets killing her clan sounds like he found out they were innocent after killing them all

I'm calling it now the celestial emperor and the grand mage are both setting the stage for The Great Tribulation they are working with fate to make it happen while Changshou and Yunxiao are struggling to prevent it from happening. Why I think that they keep sparing people who will free the demon lord. First the butterfly guy and now the gnat girl using stupid reasons like fate has a mission for you and karma. These two show up like they are on our side but then prevent them to getting revenge or killing these demons. If humanity destories the western sect The Great Tribulation can't happen. Then at the end these deities are going to say " you can struggle all you want but you can't change fate". Total BS but predictable. Watch the original human-demon war was caused because fate said that demons would kill everyone so the cultivators and humans where killing all demons evil and innocent causing the demons and the demon lord to rise up and fight back then grand mage shows up and ends the war after only 10% of humanity is left we haven't seen a lot of demons so i assume there are very few of them left too after the war. To both sides the other side is the villian while fate and the deities are just watching/playing with everyone calling it the cycle of life. I hope im wrong otherwise I'm going to be bored watching this now.

Same I hate that the second dragon prince is getting a love interest and she's not it for me but I love the main couple. I'm just happy they arent following the novel he marries all 4 love interest. I view their closeness as they finally found someone that knows about the Great Tribulation and no longer has to shoulder it alone. Since they can't go around telling people what fate revealed to them.

My guess is she is the demon lords long lost child that was separated
