Mm... even ep 2 is good. I should have wait until all ep is out. But it's been a while since I find kdrama this interesting. So let me join the watching-while-ongoing wagon and suffer with the rest of you. Here I go ep 3~
I've been in a kdrama slump for almost a year, but this drama's trailer and reviews are quite interesting. A bit hesitant because Chae Min's recent dramas have been a miss, but the first episode is so promising. That last line in the book hints at a great story! And the acting is great so far👍
If there were a list of the Worst Second Male Lead Syndrome in K-drama History, this one maybe at the top. I usually root for the ML—even when the SML is a better character—because the ML tends to be more compatible with the FL. But not in this drama. The ML is shallow, and the FL and SML seem like they made for each other.
Surprisingly, the drama still feels fresh and entertaining, even though it's already 10 years old. The acting is great, though the character logic is off at times. And the OST is fantastic! I just realized I had many of the songs from this drama in my old playlist, even though I’d never watched the drama before.
someone please reccomend me more movies with this aesthetic
I know you only ask movies but...😶🌫️: - it's animation movie but feels really close: "Only Yesterday" (it's a ghibli movie) - it's a cdrama but really have similar comfort level: "Meet Yourself" - the OG Japanese version of "Little Forest" - these two are documentary/reality show "Hyori's Bed and Breakfast" and "Little House In The Forest" but they have similar aesthetic and that serene feeling, also cooking scenes
I basically just give you 2/3 of my comfort show list🤭
Oh, they drop the guns huh (except for Ji Hye😒). Actually, before this I already drop my expectation in hell but the second trailer is not that bad. Maybe I will watch it.
The casts looks good actually. Especially the one played Huiwon, looks as majestic as the Huiwon I read in manhwa!
This drama already one year old!🥰 Still in my kdrama top list. Good acting, good visual, best direction and best ost. The plot is so well calculated and trilling!
I know this is a hit or miss. But if you already interested, please try to watch 1-2 episodes. Maybe you are part of people that will love it for a long time❤️
Until ep 6 I still enjoy this drama. Ep 7 is still tolerable. Ep 8 is so boring and annoying. Idk, this drama already lost it's charm. The comedy gone, the art school energy gone, I already slap ML twice in my mind, 2nd ML is just so pity, 3th ML maybe just a ghost, the next episode sounds so repetitive. And no more Sparkle😐
I only stay to find out the ending of the 2nd couple. This drama start as 8 for me, now it's like 6.
I made it half way through 5 and then stopped. Did it get any better in the 3ish eps I haven't watched or should…
If you didn't like the first 5 episodes I think you wouldn't like the rest. We pretty much can see what type of drama it is from the first two episodes. So far, it's consistently like that, even more corny,
I put this on future watch list because of Chun Woo Hee, but I just watch this drama pre release and... it's cute?!?! Like, super cute! Now my expectation rising. You guys better not disappoint me😉
We did see the scenes from 20ish HS on the blind date turned escape with the charming-mouthed(to drunks lol) man…
Oh, you're right we already hear her voice! I didn't paid enough attention. The voice indeed sound more mature, but I love that voice so much, so I just randomly hope that's the sound of our Haesuk.
The way they start to blatantly give Somi Young Ae's characteristic (hit herself with fry pan, protect herself with black umbrella) but in same place, how unlikely it is, because the main couple doesn't recognise that face even when they know her since child.
How deceased can go back to earth and can be seen by some human. The whole message to heaven things (so Nak Jun is like a heaven postman?). If all heaven's worker is once a human. How they get that job in the first place? And the director, does he choose to look like older man too like Hae Suk? Or is he another being? We see him with devilish face before but he seems to really care about the humans and try to help them. He is hellish and good in the same time.
How pet seems to be crucial for the plot. It's not just tearjerker but something more seems to happen about it.
How no one goes to church in heaven. That pastor is quite weird himself, lol.
The separated heaven by time concept. And the one who play the mother is really good actress. She looks so motherly in front of 80 years old Hae Suk. That would not be easy to act as mother of very senior respectable actress.
Oh, and the ending!!! Really make me want to watch next episode now.
The world building is fascinating. And the acting is really good too. I start to regret watching it now. Maybe I need to wait until it's end to binge watch it. So far really good.
Agree, this giving the Good Place vibe. But with pets there... I believe that's heaven.
Haha, maybe because I found out Good Place is hell when I see the architect kick the (fake) dog. But here, the pets seems real (they have personality and past story). I personally believe no pets go to hell. So maybe purgatory. Or maybe, heaven is just not as utopic as human used to believe.

And if you like something trilling not focus on romance, try 'Reset', it's also shorter.

May I know the voice actress name?
