actually, that is the least the director/writer can do for us. do you see the trailer for next ep? her mom and sister showed up in his apartment. they looked unhappy to see jianjian and ling xiao. it must be not a dream this time.

as a fan, constructive critics must exist but it won't stop me from watching their projects. But really, there are too many actors and actresses in china and my favorite list is getting long and longer. so confused to watch all the dramas/movies altogether.

i like this drama because there is no really bad person (so far). the moms were irresponsible but it seems they got repent after that. But i heard chen ting (ling xiao mom) in few next episodes gonna stir up troubles again (is it true?)

at first i don't know the fairytale/alternative point of view as mentioned by some viewers. i thought it goes just like it looks like: old chen alive, yan liang alive, even pupu alive because zhang dongsheng said so. BUT after reading comments, it is possible that everyone die. but luckily the one and only without doubts-fact is, chaoyang alives. and dongsheng died. cannot ask for more...

i was hoping song weilong but wallace cheung is also good. this sounds like story of minglan (only the concubine daughter part and her marquis general husband). anyway tan songyun and wallace cheung are also best option.

In few next episode there will be scene huaiji wearing good cloth going on short trip with huirou. That would be the sweetest moment they walk together, huirou hold his hand and such. But only few minutes.

I think in one text its said Sima Guang considered Princess was also to be blame thats why Emperor Renzhong sent her back to Li Wei after she managed to runaway. It is kind of irony, in drama despite princess was brought up by super tolerance and super high endurance Empress Cao and Lady Miao, in the end her ending is like Lady Zhang (i dont know where exactly the similarity, it is just feel so). Poor princess, some could change, adapt and survive, some just find its hard to change and adapt. Now I understand moms always worry for me that I cannot survive out there—lol.

I love it when she stands on Empress Cao's side and against consort Zhang. And also, i think the scariest thing for a woman is to marry a wrong man., doesn't care if you are a spoiled girl, poor girl, rich girl, etc- women all hope for marrying the right person. I don't know historically, but the drama looks like Li Wei is not bad only stupid despite he got annoying mother. If only Huirou is smarter, she could use Li Wei to control his mom. Lol. But yeah, speak is easy.

does anyone read the novel extra 番外 pages yet ? what is it about ? i don't understand chinese, but i am sure the extra is not about huaji dan princess, so what is it actually about ? please could someone help ?

oh yes and that scene...he disliked empress dowager and somewhat empress cao handling earthquake issues reminded him of empress dowager. what a shocking scene when i watched it, that time i said to myself "oh, no..."

yeah i stop watching this, cannot stand. no wonder historically it was said empress cao was indeed a cool, straight, uphold inner palace laws, not being jealous--she even let lady zhang to borrow her empress robe--and she became empress dowager after husband died, and when got old she devoted herself to the taoism.

i know this story is more about emperor renzhong, not heroine empress cao. i haven't read the novel, but a friend said in the end the empress and emperor ship is not smooth either. so, i stop watching this. cannot imagine my heart once again crushed like watching Goodbye My Princess some times ago. ~sigh.
