I agree with a lot of what you said here. Especially about Ryoko's character. But I maybe a bit biased, but because I liked Takako Matsu so much, I wanted her to be main love interest. I loved Sena and Minami as friends too, and I couldn't emotionally invest in them as a romantic pair. I liked Minami's struggle though and Sena's awkwardness with Ryoko and his character arc.
