I was discussing this drama on Reddit but thought I'd leave it here too for those who don't get the FL...
>The FL, I don't know, I'm just not quite getting her. Not sure whether it is the actress herself or the way her role is written or, perhaps I don't understand her backstory well enough
So do we think the reason Elvis said he's never been moved by her / felt fondly in eps 5/6 is because 1) he's…
3. He's been moved by her every moment they've been together. He's clearly fallen for TY deeper than she has and than he could imagine. He puts the breaks on because TY has put up her protective battle gear up which he can't break down cause he's leaving and that's unfair to her to pursue something he can't hold onto fully because he's leaving. XZ has way more tempted moments than TY or just as many.
Why do I keep getting the feeling that the Princess is the Main villain at the end of it all? Mother's death, that bite on her arm, husband's death... Princess has suffered a great deal.
As Fernanda said so fittingly on twitter:"Yes. We forget all the things that he has done since episode 1, bc he…
When we first learned he was an orphan a few weeks ago I didn't have an ounce of sympathy for him. Today even less cause he's shown his true colors time and time again! He's been an absolute dickhead to everyone since episode 2 nah... Miss me with that forced sympathy writer.

I think it's a few things... TY isn't styled or written as the typical FL. She's a little Morticia Adams/Goth feel. The styling for me is a bit rough lol like enough with this dark lipstick already! It's doing her no favors. But when she wears lighter colors she's so open and bright to me. TY's personality also is very dark and closed off unless she's closer like the nice coworker girl with the bf or the needy cousin but she's opening up slowly and more boldly to Elvis. TY is
resistant to love because her crush broke her heart upon confessing π©. She's not very optimistic or open and she's playing this game but not playing the game at the same time. I like her. I like that she's not naive or falling for Elvis like a school girl that has a crush, she's calling him out on his game and keeping him on his toes, she's hesitant and resistant but still dipping you toe in slowly each episode. TY is an acquired taste, gotta keep watching with an open mind.
