The last one was right! The only thing that can beat the previous episodes of LLTG is new episodes of LLTG. LLTG tops itself episode after episode... And honestly for me, it's in a league of it's own at this point.

After Shaoshang came and pleaded Zisheng's case in front of the Wendy, and then Zisheng said "What about Shouchun?" while eating the bread, the familial bond between the Emperor and him shined again. It was effortless and comfortable so much like a teenager asking for the car keys or going to an event 😅😅

It's so disappointing that Cheng Madam has zero faith in her son. This however, proved once again why General Cheng chose to marry Xuan Yuani a divorcé. This copper case is another great way for the Emperor to get rid of more corrupt officials and free up those spots for the people of poor backgrounds.

Wendy really showed me today that he already considers Shaoshang to be apart of the family. As much as he says its for Zisheng's sake and to ensure Zisheng get's married is all true, but Emperor Wen already is treating Shaoshang like a daughter in-law. Linking her to the Ling family for safe keeping, caring that she's wet and may get sick - him pacing back and forth didn't help his case, and scared out of his mind that she doesn't want to stay in the palace like a typical girl.

Shaoshang already has Wendy wrapped around her finger and our girl doesn't even know it... The crying while kneeling was hook line and sinker for their relationship. Wendy looked like he was about to give in and Eunch Cao being outside was his saving grace lol. Shaoshang now has 2 daddies, I said what I said 😅😅😅

Yep!!! It's quite sad and reminds me of what Shaoshang has been saying all this time, she's had to look out for herself and seek revenge for herself because no one else was there to do so. Ling Buyi and Shaoshang are a very tragic couple le sigh.

Le sigh, our favorite Emperor finally went ahead and did it. He disappointed me, with his soft handed decision (CP 🧐 that you??). I get that it's out of respect for the Yue clan and especially Consort Yue, but it's still messed up. Marquis Yue has done soooo much f$cked up sh!t! Demote him to be a commoner and take away his properties and All his money!

But I understand sigh... the Yue family is still connected to the royal family with marriages and sacrificed themselves for him 😩. Wendy was kinda in a rock and hard place because he didn't want to be the bad guy. I'm still disappointed though. I am consoled though, only by Consort Yue's badassery and her not being held back by familial ties. What's wrong is wrong and she said it and meant it as such.

Wendy's decision though, has basically forced Zisheng's hand with his future decisions when he finally finds the culprit and the truth.
