I originally dropped this at ep 3...thought maybe I was overreacting. Came back to possibly hate watch & here I am dropping it again for real at ep 6.
If a director cannot portray how the story was originally written, with all of it's messages & character developments, etc., then they are not doing their job well. If someone feels they need to say "in the book, in the manga, in the web toon, etc.," then the director is a failure & has no excuse.
As I am in the minority, & am ok with that, I don't feel any chemistry between the ML's & I've disliked Uea from ep 1. Making a character a walking, talking trauma does not mean that I should like, love, or even pity him & if I don't feel any of these I shouldn't be made to be the bad guy. I don't like him with or without his issues simply because his trauma IS his character. There is nothing else to him.
With that said, the music is what has been making these scenes have any feeling. Krit is nothing but music. Him putting his arm on the back of a chair is hardly threatening.
If Uea "is uncomfortable he should resign"? WTF? If Uea is uncomfortable he needs to pull up his big boy panties & tell people to back the fuck off. Now this may be a cultural thing & I get that but being a door mat to all visitors is a character flaw that is unattractive in every way & since we've already established that seeking any type of medical treatment for mental help is taboo, at some point he has to decide if he is worth sticking up for all by himself. Letting your co-workers swoop in to save your spineless ass is old & frustrating.
Unfortunately, Net was unable to keep me until the end of this series. All of you that are enjoying this...cheers!
The wood is the reason why we got all this mess. Din (when he was officially alive) tried to catch chief - because…
Yes...it's all coming back to me now LOL. I think I had spent so much time in the beginning trying to make sense of the subs that some of the things that happened just escaped my memory LOL - Thank you!
The wood is why Din is in trouble in the first place. If the cheif hadn't of messed wuth the trees did not have…
When was this mentioned LOL? I mean, they keep talking about the wood & the trees but I didn't think we really had a clue yet as to why they went after Din & subsequently Ken.
Episode 6: OK I am in total confusion. I was able to wing it up until this episode.
~Sooooo, the whole fight in the field thing? Episode opens up with everyone & their mother knowing about it. Somehow Ken has a hurt leg? Seemed to be doing fine with it during the fight. And Mr. Lue's gunshot wound? Healed. Then POOF, Ken is in some fancy schmancy bed with a totally hot pic above his head. ~The friends? WTF is their point? I kinda don't mind the side couple but they're silly & useless & they don't use any tongue so really. ~The entire tub scene with Nok & the Chief was icky. Between the pigeons, the wet floor, the girls, the tub, Nok in his underwear, the laugh screaming & the Chief dancing? It just screamed "all of us need to get a tetanus shot". ~The wood? Why should we care about this wood? ~The whole scene between Ken & Mr. Lue, when they met on the popular BL lighted path, was out of left field & I don't understand LOL ~Are those pics of Din in the hotel room? LOL
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE:
Did the fight with the man in black in Ken's hotel bathroom happen? I mean, WTF? What am I not understanding? And if it was a dream...WHY?
The ONLY things I got this entire episode was that Ken's dad is sweet & I love him, & the conversation eluding to plastic surgery advancement to totally change your mug but it's a super secret.
With that said, his character is clearly not interested in a dude LOL. He's been fighting it every episode & barely even gazes at Bamee. It seems to me his whole jealousy over the kid just comes down to him not wanting his friend to get hurt. Obviously that's applaudable but not what I came here for LMAO. I think I just would like to see Kiew show genuine interest in Bamee. Any of there falling into each other staring scenes have been slow motion at its best but I'm not feeling any fire there.
I'm tuning in for another week because my Wednesday's are open & my fingers are crossed for a repeat shirtless Cooper.
Is there any way I can get Go Ho Tae to go with a side of whipped cream? And Daddy Tae Joon with a side of fries please...I'll drive around for pick up.
Not related to ASTCO but snowregret blocked me, when I was just replying! I don't know whether to laugh or cry...…
OK but your comments to him were fuckin golden & I was just about to get my popcorn! I think you broke him...he realized that you weren't caving to his constant, un-called for, nasty, childish attacks. Good job!
A good show can work at multiple levels. You can appreciate it as lighthearted entertainment and, at the same…
Yes absolutely!! It's unfortunate that a lot of the serious, important issues that you elude to are not easily solved or even addressed properly & it leaves very much open. I'd love for mental health to be treated by ACTUAL medical professionals in BL's & maybe in time we will see that. Even the sexual harassment that occurs could be made a bigger deal of but its glossed over. There are a lot of issues that are portrayed to some degree & the execution falls flat or is subpar at best.
Either way, they ARE just shows & BL is really kind of on the fanfic side so it drives me nuts that so many people want to nitpick things that are just not that important in this fantasy world LOL. I have just learned to ignore what I can & focus on other things. I can be really shallow with my focus BTW LOL. But as I said above, even some things are way beyond my reach to suspend my disbelief for LOL.

I LOVE THIS...ALL OF IT
WTF?!?!?
We just get to the good part & you put us on hold? This is some bullshit LOL
