I'm pretty excited with this so far. I hope we get a little more back story on TH because clearly his aunt hates him. I'm all for the tortured, depressed soul that takes the blame for some horrific act that wasn't ACTUALLY his fault but the grown ups in his life suck & now we are blessed with someone that uses dark humor as his escape. It's not as if BL's actually seek treatment from medical professionals so sign me up for the boyfriend that will make it all ok. I'm in.

Exactly. If this is his worst I'm not bothered in the slightest. People can be vile so in comparison to those, this is a cake walk. I can think of at least 5 characters in BL's that were total douche noggins that I should've, could've, & did FF through their scenes.
Sooooo, I kinda sorta really like TH. He's a prick but he's funny & that's not a bad workable redeeming quality LOL. His teasing is nothing like that asshole from Cherry Blossoms so there's that. I kinda think they got a spark. Finger's crossed...

That is exactly the problem with some of these BL's that make mental health, sexual assault, etc, part of the storyline. They never meet it head on with the help of medical professionals. You are correct...they wish it away on dick. While I'd like my problems to be solved by dick...sadly, lol, they are not. If anything more problems are created by it. Whether the acting is good enough is not the case. They've thrown everything but the kitchen sink at this character & the writer/director isn't going to solve it with any ACTUAL help but by making King the knight in shining armor & Uea "believing in himself". It's completely half-assed, uneducated, & disappointing. And while I totally enjoy seeing King in whatever the hell he doesn't want to wear, he's bringing the fire & Uea is a dead fish. He's good at stripping but so am I & if King isn't doing it for him, send King to my door LOL.

I guess because their story IS the plot. It's the background & we apparently need to know it. In UWMA Korn & In were considered ML's & they were dead too. The whole plotline is around Din & his involvement in whatever the hell this illegal something or other is going on with the Chief & Nok.
OK I'll say it & I don't care if folks disagree...there is no way in hell should a perfectly abled adult be clipping another perfectly abled adults toe nails...& that includes the nail salon btw (sorry not sorry). Give me a barf bag & Brillo for a shower.
With less than 20 minute episodes I'd hardly call it a hardship to get through. Almost all of the cast is pretty easy on the eyes so who am I to complain about that aspect?!?! While I'm uninterested in alcohol in general, who cares? It's a plot at least.
I kinda like the friend....he's funny. And let me not forget the waiter...I'd eat him as an entrée.
