I absolutely despise the principal & I am hoping that her appearances are on the decline. I'm trying to ignore the absurdity of her involvement, expectations, & demands as her actions are illegal AT MINIMUM & my ability to suspend disbelief is losing power. I can't stand fan girls of this level. Lastly, I may have seen/felt a little fire between the ML's with that whole apron scene. Thought Mek was bringing his "A" game for sure.
Is all of this a ridiculous stretch? Yes. Must I suspend total disbelief? Absolutely. Is there a storyline buried somewhere beneath these pretty actors? Not yet & probably not. But I'm here for it, not mad at it & am patiently waiting any more shirtless scenes they give me.

As I've stated before in other posts, the virgin-like approach to EVERYTHING is too much for me & I'm either too old for this mindset or too much of a slut...or maybe both. I know this approach is common with Japanese BL's & I truly enjoyed Kieta, Life, & 7 Days but the over the top inner monologue & the absolute panic constantly drives me to the edge! Maybe next time I should wait to decide whether to binge watch or just not.

I think I've hit my limit with the falling kiss. In all my years on this earth never has it happened to me, happened to anyone I know, or happened to strangers while I've walked by. In The Player he definitely gained weight. Especially in his face. I mean, I wouldn't kick him out of my bed for eating crackers but I physically like the Mek Star & Sky.

The second couple leave something to be desired. The hair is great...really! But I kinda feel like he's too stoic. The words come out just fine but there is no emotion there. Laundry guy? IDK. I really don't.

Oh I know what to expect based on the country it's coming out of & Japan is notorious for putting out over the top BL's. I liked Kieta Hatsukoi, Life, & the Seven Days series & they did have moments of over the top but I think I liked the story line as well. The stories were always moving forward & the over the top reactions diminished. I thought it would happen with this story line but for me it didn't. It's enjoyable for me right up until the silliness takes me right out of the mood LOL.
I would have liked to see more of Naoya's POV as it's not nearly as over the top tiring as Kota's but it was short lived. Kota's dramatic anti-intimacy/affection is at an all time high & quite infuriating. I realize that some cultures continue to be none the wiser when it comes to relationships, sex, etc. but I feel like a total whore watching this! By their age my virgin years were well behind me, first love had & gone, & relationships o-plenty were in the making. I appreciate to a certain degree the innocent virgin-like approach to this relationship but in no way can relate. I'm sure for some this is relatable & enjoyable but I'm clearly too old for this type of mindset. I thought the silliness would stop sooner but alas, it has just gotten more sigh-able LOL. One more episode will not kill me though.
