I think either one is a personality flaw & not ones that I think can be grown out of...not easily or likely. One would have to be made aware of & have understanding of such flaws AND have to care to change them.
In this situation, Sunshine exhausted all options by killing everyone, a lovely characteristic BTW, & then opted to off himself. He finally has the perspective because he sacrificed 5 lives for it to be even awarded. Fortunately, he got to live another day with a new lease & perspective on life that hopefully he takes advantage of.
With all of that said, his turnabout is sudden, IMO, because there was absolutely no indication given that he had an interest in Kyu at any point. I wouldn't expect him to show any interest in anyone because he is in love with someone else & killing off people to ensure that they are together. But this had been tagged as a BL. It is not. Sooooo, if Sunshine & Kyu aren't the end game, which would still be a stretch storyline wise, it would still be hard to tag this as a BL.

Exactly. My issue is that this is a veteran ship playing roles that are too young for their 30+ selves in a storyline that is completely beneath them & meant for more of the just starting outers. It's not that I don't think they can do comedy anymore...I just think that this type of storyline for them ia a been there & done that. After seeing them in Not Me & what they are capable in a quasi well written & directed drama, I was expecting them to continue along that path. To me, this is a quite a few step backs. BTW, it should be said that it's not that I don't think they have chemistry...but this series isn't showcasing how strong their ship is. I truly have really come to love Neo & I love that he shows how versatile he is, but like OffGun...this type of comedic , immature storyline is beneath him & by far a challenge. I have stuck around because I think the friends are funny but if I rated this above a 6 right now I'd be lying.

I love Jan in pretty much everything so she carries this for me. I'm also happy to see that Mark didn't get sidelined due to Star & Sky being crap.
