6 months? I’d be done in a month, it doesn’t look like the guy even tried to initiate anything with her.
I was really pushing it TBH LOL. I agree with you. I was thinking of young love & the bullshit I would like to think I had the tolerance for back then but you are 100% right. Nothing about his body language said he was interested...
For me, it really has nothing to do with it being lighthearted. I can handle a little fluff & easy storyline,…
I did not take anything to heart...no worries! You weren't offensive at all! As this is a discussion/opinion forum I don't think there is anything wrong with expressing like/dislike for anything we watch as that is the whole point! We all like different things & it's important we all respect each other & learn from one another!
one thing i dont really get is that why people are mad with this lighthearted bl? its not bcs i love off gun and…
For me, it really has nothing to do with it being lighthearted. I can handle a little fluff & easy storyline, comedic noises & silly friends, maybe even a touch of over the top reactions & falling down kisses. As long as the plot is feasible & it all makes sense...great! I don't need "nc scenes & sensual moments" but I need the ML's to sell me on their ship...make me want to come aboard on their journey & be happy that I'm there.
IMO, these are veteran actors & they are a veteran ship. I think they are talented enough for any genre, especially together. I also know that they are 30+ years old & playing characters that are still going to school & still living off their parents is just a little too newbie for them. I think that they've shown us how well they can rise to the occasion with a drama. I was a huge fan of Not Me because it showcased how diverse they were. For me, Cooking Crush is just the same old, nothing new here, falling back on what we know type of genre & there's nothing wrong with it. It's just...the same.
Drama doesn't automatically mean it has to be dark it just means that I MAY get lucky & have no one talk about diarrhea, or maybe they won't act like they'll catch koodies if their SO touches them in public or in private, or maybe there will be no scene with ANYONE SITTING ON THE TOILET. Just a couple of examples of what I have found in some "lighthearted BL's". LOL
I think just as much people watch lighthearted BL's as they do any other genre. It's all about preference.
Soooo, my take on this is that Him...clearly has a type, & I don't think there's necessarily anything wrong with that but for me it's just a little to alike LOL. But the resemblance thing is the least of my issues.
My main concern is that from what we've seen it seems that it was a shitty relationship. Maybe Blue was too clingy & obviously Him wasn't nor was Him attentive. OK, then what? From what I gather everyone liked Blue which is great I guess. Maybe they all blame Him for the breakup...ok great. I believe Blue is still alive & kicking somewhere right? Sooooo, this is an everyday normal shit relationship? What's the mystery? Did Him lose his mind one night & rip Blue's face off in a rage? What is the storyline?
And let's be real here...Nail is doing a fairly decent job at telling Te to piss off but not good enough. Block that bitch, call the cops, tell a friend, & make a scene if necessary. Go the distance because something is wrong with Te.
Also, I'm more invested in ChaoPie. Chao will break down Pie's walls LOL!
literally lmaooo it wouldve been more help if they actually went further and got them help rather than waste fuel…
A second failed escape LOL. None of them have had the brilliant idea of just leaving the house & walking. Even if it took 2 days at least it would be better than just sitting there LOL.
Ah, the frozen kiss. I thought that they were veterans & I'm kinda disappointed. Why not put a shoulder in the way? Oh well.
After I wrote this I scrolled & saw how many people did complain about the kiss as I did, but how many vultures came out to outright attack their opinion was insane. Look folks, no one is saying that they needed to MaxTul the situation. However, even if you want me to believe that this is either one's 1st kiss, I had a first kiss too &, well, you move. Lips move, heads move, you breathe...you don't stand there as if rigor mortis has taken over. These dudes in the show are over the age of 5 & 5 times that in real life. A happy medium could've sufficed.
It's a cute show, albeit I'd prefer them in something more on the drama side like Not Me. The cutesy stuff is great but I think they should age...into more age appropriate storylines. Still living off your parents should be a distant storyline for both of them. I know folks were attacked for this opinion as well. Well, it IS an opinion & this IS an opinion forum for discussion so there's that.
Did they talk about it in a reaction video or a behind the scenes? I have yet to find a subbed reaction video…
Yeah this is the one...but I don't see any subs LOL. Like they are all talking but nothing on the screen except for the subs from the episode that they are watching. Those are in English & I can read them but that's it. Any suggestions? LOL
I love that Billy and Babe talked about the NC scene in future episode is a cumulation of Tharn and Phaya love…
Did they talk about it in a reaction video or a behind the scenes? I have yet to find a subbed reaction video & while I love watching their reaction & I don't NEED the subs, it still would be nice LOL.
So I absolutely LOVE that Tee done forgot that he had a boyfriend that he probably kinda sorta definitely should be taking care of...the ENTIRE episode, & this dude just ups & leaves without giving White a second thought!! LMAO. IF they get out of there, White should tell Tee to kick rocks...LOL. Everyone should be protecting that baby at all costs!!
I admit that I really enjoyed it more when we were under a blanket of sexual tension & boys were making out at every balcony but I guess we had to sadly move on LOL...eh, fingers crossed we get another session between Phi & Jin.
Came here after You Are My So(ul) Mate...anyway, this had a little bit of everything. It's not great but the cast is easy on the eyes. The storyline is definitely stretched to too many episodes & some scenes are way too long but you do end up caring about most of the characters & the comedy is funny.
Mick has the adorable puppy dog eyes & screams innocence so I'm excited to see him in Every You, Every Me. Even though I think it's less than a year later that it will air from La Cuisine, Mick looks pretty grown up & well, kinda tasty, & not so virgin-like LOL.
Dao: an annoying character not helped by the lousy actress playing her.
When she said "I think we should ask him to quit being a cop" I about jumped through my screen ready to throw hands. I tolerated her the first time but she's itchin for my wrath.
Now with that said, I'm not opposed to some immature, juvenile drama such as...Tharn claiming property & making it clear she back off type of shit...just enough childish silliness for me to be giddy over but not eye roll inducing or offensive to those that are to uppity with no sense of humor ya know?

The friends are my favorite part though.
