Folks are being shot, almost stabbed, and nearly executed. I'm having a tough time caring much about Guy's romantic…
Right? Like "Hey there little Guy, the kiddie table is over there. Now go get yourself an ice cream & your blankey...there you go sugar plum. The grown ups are a little busy right now."
It was definitely off. First, Guy's reaction didn't make a lot of sense. Tew had just told him that he hadn't…
The obvious is that they don't really KNOW each other so disclosing his lifestyle & profession after all of 6 minutes is a little hasty. Getting upset over him not telling him was over the top & uncalled for, not to mention the fact that it was already established that Tew is a private person. With that said, I didn't think those 6 minutes of their relationship would escalate the possibility of any danger to his life expectancy but I'm not a gangster so.
Since the beginning, I didn't get the feeling that Guy was checking Tew out the same way Tew was checking Guy out...I mean, I'm aware of how ALL OF US are checking Tew out & Guy doesn't seem to be drinking our water. He still seems overly concerned & sidetracked with Wally & if Wally can make you forget so easily about Tew maybe pining for Wally is his future & Tew is in ours with a different partner LOL.
I was thinking, right before Tew magically appeared at the shore, how we were at episode 4 & nothing was happening with the ML's. If this was 10 or 12 episodes I wouldn't think much of it but then Tew tells Guy how they both feel & then hits us with the "I'm out of the gangster business" & now I'm thinking it's time to pump the brakes. We literally just saw the big boss in action & that Tew is in it for life & now we're switching the script. I'm not sure him quitting would be the direction I'd prefer the story to go nor do I think it makes much sense after only the 6 minutes.
Now THAT is how you open an episode!!! There is absolutely no justifiable reason why the next 4 episodes should not start EVERY time with Meen half naked!!
And I'm sorry...quit the gangster life? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT WILL YOU BE QUITTING THE GANGSTER LIFE!! That is absurd & a total knee jerk reaction & while I applaud you for being a romantic I cannot stand idly by & allow the bad boy to be stripped from this most delectable slice of cupcake in suspenders!
Ahem, now this whole episode was a little...off? IDK. Wal/Whale isn't a horror to look at but I'm not really sure of his intentions but I'm willing to just view him right now as the overprotective friend. Was kinda gettin flustered myself, but for completely different reasons, when he realized that he might be sent to an early grave.
I thought Guy was slightly overdramatic with the big reveal of Tew's & Tew coming in at the end there & voicing shit that I DID'T get one bit from Guy was just odd? Like Guys' main concern was if Wally was going to call him. He didn't seem the slightest bit interested in "facing his feelings about Spicy Big D Gangster Oppa" so...
Check Out and Unforgotten Night. (They were airing at the same time and both are so bad).
LOL they were horrible. I made it through Unforgotten Night, which I admittedly binged so maybe that's why I was able to, but also the pop up threesome shower scene was almost kinda worth it as was the catatonic tigers LMAO - it all was just so absurd!
Have this nagging feeling that it's gonna be a yawn...these beautiful men look absolutely edible for the dessert menu & it may help to distract from a nap...fingers crossed.
So this was quite fast forward worthy right up until minute 36 then shit got real LOL - I don't mean to laugh but from that point on it was the definition of escalating quickly. One minute I'm yawning, hitting the FF while watching football, & the next I'm thinkin about how much I'm not feelin what is happening & things are makin me uncomfortable.
