The song in the show is certainly not reflective of all Kpop in general, and I don't know why you felt like going…
This is what I wrote...I just copied & pasted but i have no idea why you can't see it... I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to music. I really only stumbled upon Kpop because of COVID LOL. Down the YouTube hole I fell & then just never looked back. I think a lot of it, for me, is the fact that we are introduced to these idols in a very personal way. We get to see them grow, we're in their dorm, we watch them travel, sleep, eat, practice, shop...everything. I'm not silly enough to believe that what they are showing us isn't a good part of acting but it is very different than the glimpse of one's life we get here in the US which is mostly tabloid bullshit. I have yet to understand the hate that these idols get for crossing over to the BL world as being an idol, IMO, definitely requires acting! If they do the frozen fish kiss or no kiss at all it hardly makes them any different than the other BL "actors" that disappoint us on a regular basis LOL. These Kpop idols could be MY kids for Christ sake & while I enjoy looking at them & find them quite tasty, I do know that they are kids. BUT I have quite a few bands that I like because of their lyrics or their voices or just the music in general. It's all relative LOL.
I agree with you that the whole thing is intrusive. It's beyond what I myself would be comfortable with but it's not my personality or culture or profession. I think that they all put on an act for the most part which is why I don't understand those having such an issue with their cross over to acting. I don't for one second honestly believe that they are ALL nice & ALL funny & ALL genuine but that's the schtick. It's my guilty pleasure...along with BL of course LOL. In real life I'm 45, married, & have 2 under 10 LOL. I work full time, have a whole head of gray hair that I dye different colors & am covered in tats. I come to MDL because no one I actually know in my real life watch any of this shit LOL.

IDK but I thought I read somewhere in the comment section about him being supposedly homophoebic? I myself never read that about him but it was said somewhere on MDL. I didn't care for SOTUS but it wasn't necessarily because of him LOL. He's not necessarily memorable to me but not hate worthy LOL

I didn't delete it...it's still there... I also have an odd sense of humor so I wouldn't go too crazy about taking me so seriously here...which is why I add the LOL. I'm not that serious LOL & there's very little that offends me or that I'm serious about to the extent that some of these people go to. I never take you for a sensitive person nor do you seem to be offended easily if ever & deleting my comments really isn't my style...I try to own my own bullshit LOL

I as not offended at your shitting on Kpop!! LOL I think I was more upset that you stooped to their level & commented on something so insignificant...but OK so I was a little offended at you liking Nirvana...I'll let it slide though because I like Kpop AND the BeeGees LOL
I respect your opinion...even if it's shallow, judgmental, & shows how unknowledgeable you are about Kpop music…

I'm not that deep. To me, music, like most things, is an art. I think it's all relative to the person & while I absolutely despise with every fiber of my being, Taylor Swift, & cannot possibly begin to understand the draw to her...millions flock to drink her bath water & that's ok...but I'd rather lick the floors of St. Patrick's Cathedral then be subjected to her. I also despise country music. But at the end of the day, I don't really care what anyone listens to, nor do I judge them because in the end, it comes down to MY preference. I hate the Beatles...sacrilege? Don't care. Your thoughts on Kpop are...opinions...IMO they are barely based on facts. But clearly you don't think too highly of the genre & that's great for you...you've subjected yourself enough to it to form your well rounded opinion & it's not for you. Kudos! With that said, Bob Dylan & Radiohead aren't even close to being in the same genres as Kpop or even Adele or even Nirvana. Just because Ole Bob is still touring at 82 doesn't mean he should & just because a band has been around for 40 years doesn't mean anyone's listening. The Notorious B.I.G was around for 7 years & is regarded as one of the best hip hop artists of all time...7 years. Not my opinion btw. Generally one can sing years longer than dancing...there's no argument there just common sense. Quality vs quantity & I believe it's all relative. I watch BL for God's sake...I'm judged constantly...obviously I don't give a shit but it's MY preference. I just try not to shit on others taste in art because for some people that art is what gets them up every morning.
MAGGI'S OLD PERSON'S RANT ON THE IDOL'S SONGThe song the idol sang at the bar sounded as if it had been composed…
I respect your opinion...even if it's shallow, judgmental, & shows how unknowledgeable you are about Kpop music in general. As I am 45 & think Nirvana is absolute shit, I question your taste in music anyway LOL.
With that said, I have no idea why you bothered with your rant about Kpop music when this series does not really feature Kpop music nor is it the focus.
You seem more knowledgeable about the international shows & movies. I've looked forward to your opinions on numerous occasions as I think you are very intelligent & have vast knowledge of many cultures. Shitting on a genre of music, especially when it really has nothing to do with the series, seems a bit petty, immature, & dumbs your intelligence down quite a bit.
Anyhoo, I'm an 80's hair metal, with a smattering of Tool, a dash of Mumford & Sons, a pinch of Marvin Gaye, & a full on lathering of ATEEZ type of girl...but that has nothing to do with this series LOL.
Oooh girl, take a breather! I get it. If I wasn’t into Zaddy Jeng so much, I would totally give Pat the middle…
Yes to all of it LOL.
I don't know how he made that sweatshirt look like he was wrapped in bacon but I was salivating like a dog in heat. Anytime they put him in black he looks like the devils snack & not only do I approve but I will beat a bitch to climb him.

I dislike Patis. Thana deserves way better.
I love Mai & the actor that plays him but I don't think I like Reaow enough to wish them together LOL.
I'll give this a few more episodes but the 2 minute intro is aggressive LOL
I'm actually angry which just pisses me off more LOL.
What a waste of potential.
But I will say that Marc in the last scenes looked the best I've seen him in the last couples of series LOL.
I don't know how he made that sweatshirt look like he was wrapped in bacon but I was salivating like a dog in heat.

Having Lomfon like the older brother is just creating too much unnecessary drama as KNOW who the ML's are LOL.
