Oh how I wish I loved this as much as the majority do...I'm sad LOL. I want to like this...to like them but I'm not clicking with this.
With the exception of the ex-twit, all of the female characters are just so wonderful!
I actually despise Tae Hyung more than the ex-twit & am hoping for his early demise.
I love that they show us Jae Won in therapy but I'm really hoping more that he eventually shows us who he is. He's the only character that I'm having such a hard time connecting with & I think that that's where I'm struggling.
Ha ha ha ha. Have you seen the longer trailer? It looks like they’ll be giving us a fun pursuit and shenanigans…
No it's as if there's a coach right next to them telling them where & when...ick. Unfortunately, I think these directors think that all we want or need are these robotic intimate scenes & we'll think it's great. Like, eff the storyline, the chemistry, & originality because why would we want any of these things. So maybe Joong in Star & Sky took his shirt off a couple times & in doing so I stuck around until the end...BUT...me being shallow doesn't mean that I accept shitty writing, lazy time jumps, & those sandpaper frozen "kisses".

My only issue really is that Nat, for me, tends to be a little too...young. I hate saying that because folks will argue that he's 20 & he's an adult & blah blah blah. I agree. HOWEVER, sometimes he can make me feel like a total perv, & not the good kind, because he comes across as much younger than that. Childlike maybe?
I've run into that problem with Fluke (UWME), NuNew, Barcode, & a couple of others. I think they're sweet & cuddly & want to protect them but I can kinda feel icky with a sexual scene.
Luckily, fingers crossed, my perviness will feast on Max & all will be well LOL
How is no one talking about the hot guy with the hand tat that was at the beginning of the episode & showed up briefly one other time? Forget the fact that I don't care about who he is or where he fits in but when will we be feasting our eyes on him again?
I mean, am I gonna watch? Fuck yes. Am I gonna bitch about it the whole time & endlessly roll my eyes? Fuck yes I am. BUT, am I gonna watch & drool & be giddy with happiness because Max will be half naked at some point? Absofuckinlutely.
~I dislike immensely Jae Won's friend...he's a dick without a single redeemable quality. Fingers crossed one of the freshman girls throat punches him. ~I dislike immensely the ex-girlfriend...she's a jealous bitch that I'm pretty sure will be extra nasty to Ji Hyun at some point in which case I would like to rent a bus now for all the haters so that we have a plan. We haven't had an ex-girlfriend that makes a rage in awhile so I'm sure we are all well rested. ~I am kinda sorta on the fence about Jae Won. I'm gonna need some time to warm up to him I think. I want to like him. ~Not sure about chemistry yet which is bothering me. I'll try to give that some time but I feel like Jae Won is either too mature for Ji Hyun or Ji Hyun is too mature for Jae Won. ~Lastly, I absolutely love Yoon Won & think that if we do not get more of her character we are being short changed.
and those time skips---- lazzzzy - at least they didn't have "stern chaebol father sends one of them overseas…
Ugh that would have been the death of me right there! WBL is one of my all time faves but I'll be honest when I say that that time hop was outlandish!!! I was seriously angry when that season started & they were like "oh yeah...THAT was the last time we saw each other 5 years ago...".
Time skips, in general IMO, is exactly what you said. Lazy. Lazy writing & lack of creativity. Tae Hyun & Da Yeol are high school kids that in a lot of ways are much more mature than I was or anyone I knew in high school, so I was a little disappointed that once out of high school & more into the adult world they almost went backwards. I did love their chemistry & knowing that they are idols together I wasn't expecting anything less LOL.
Kiew sees all his friends children as his nephews and niece. So it's understandable that he doesn't so romantic…
Oh I know how he views them as it's made note of constantly to which, I might add, I love because it's funny. BUT...I still wouldn't mind SOME chemistry between them to at least not make his out of left field interest in Bamee...out of left field.
I actually really enjoyed this show. The first time jump kinda threw me & I got a little worried but by the end of ep 6 I was feelin quite excited about the finale. And then the finale...well, the finale.
IDK. The second time jump of another 2 years was a little jarring, especially because the whole episode there was absolutely no indication that their relationship progressed...anywhere. It was as if they just left off at the drunk scene & 2 years later rang each other up like "hey haven't seen you in a minute...let's hang" & poof...ep 7. Or maybe they haven't been dating for 2 years & this is 2 years later when Tae Hyun was ready for the relationship?
With that said, I thought they would be a little more comfortable with each other & maybe some hand holding. Maybe more hugs. Maybe not so much awkwardness. I mean, in the outside world these dudes live together. They are a hell of a lot more affectionate with each other on an every day basis in the real world...why not let them be that way for the storyline?
I was pretty pleased with the ear kiss. I'm positive I would have bitched about whatever "kiss" they were gonna muster up so I'll take this one as a win & a very good decision by actors & directors...I'm hoping that other BL's will learn that this is acceptable & the frozen or sandpaper "kiss" should stop. Please stop.
