CDrama of the YEAR and the Best Fantasy CDrama for me!
CDrama of the year!I’m not saying this just because I’m too emotional right now, but I’ve watched almost 9-12 Cdramas aired this year, and not one—NOT ONE—made me feel this way. I was so invested in this drama.
The Cast slayed! I felt every single emotion they portrayed!
The Plot and the Directors slayed!
Cinematography!
Even the costumes!
The little details throughout the series!
I loved how the cast had so much fun on set!
Of course, the OSTs! It’s my first time listening to a whole album of a CDrama on repeat!
The fantasy element felt alive. It reminded me of Alchemy of Souls.
I have to admit that there were some sound mixing problems, but aside from that, everything was PERFECT!
So, this is the Cdrama of the year and the best fantasy Cdrama for me!
The special episode saved me! For me, this is not an open ending, it’s perfect In it’s own way.

This drama was both unusual and deeply emotional, but I’m glad I kept watching.
I was so confused until episode 4. It felt like every episode introduced a new character without a clear purpose, which made things overwhelming and hard to follow. During those first four episodes, it seemed like there wasn’t any plot at all.But I’m glad I didn’t stop watching. I held on because of the cast, and they did not disappoint! The cast lineup is absolutely amazing. After episode 5, everything started to make sense, and the plot finally began to unfold.
Hands up for Ju Ji Hoon and Lee Jung Eun. I cried my eyes out during their scene.
As someone mentioned in the reviews, the only source of light in the world between life and death was the Light Shop. That detail was brilliant. Apart from the hospital and light shop scenes, everything else was shot in darkness, which added so much depth to the atmosphere.
I felt pity for every character. Each one had their own story, and the actors did such a fantastic job portraying their struggles and emotions. The way some characters chose their own fates was truly compelling and left a lasting impact.

a Masterpiece! every episode leaves you Mesmerized!
I don’t even know where to start. I binge-watched this drama not because I had time but because I was completely bewitched by it! Every aspect of this masterpiece—the Acting, Storyline, Plot, Music, and Production—left me utterly speechless.I was screaming in excitement, jumping and clenching my hands throughout the whole series. Not a single episode is boring! It keeps you thrilled and glued to the screen!
First and foremost, I watched this because of Kim Tae Ri. She was absolutely phenomenal! The fact that she trained for three years for this role truly shows. It’s evident in every movement, every emotion she poured into her character. Her portrayal of Jeongnyeon wrapped the audience in a tight embrace, making us feel every single emotion her character experienced. Jeongnyeon’s journey, from someone who came from nothing to becoming the prince who never gave up no matter what life threw at her. I felt every ounce of her pain, her determination, and her triumphs. I ended up crying every time Jeongnyeon cried. Kim Tae Ri’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary. She is truly a gem of an actress.
The second reason I watched this was because of a TikTok I saw featuring Moon Ok-Gyeong, portrayed by Jung Eun Chae. Oh my goodness, she nailed this role so perfectly that I often found myself thinking of her as a man. Her transformation and the conviction she brought to her character were simply amazing!
I also cannot overlook Shin Ye Eun’s incredible performance. She left me speechless, particularly during the Bangja scene. That moment caught me off guard and continued to do so throughout the drama. Her acting was so raw and so powerful.
Woo Da Vi’s portrayal of Jooran deserves special mention as well. Her farewell performance scene with Jeongnyeon was breathtaking. It was filled with such emotion and authenticity.
Kim Yoon Hye and Ra Mi Ran’s portrayals of HyeRan and Director Kang were equally mesmerizing. Their acting made every scene believable and impactful. I could understand and connect with each of their characters because of how deeply they embodied their roles.
The music was another standout element of this drama. Each performance left me stunned. I watched every musical scene as if I were sitting in the audience of a grand theater hall, utterly captivated. The cinematography complemented the performances beautifully, making every shot feel magical and immersive.
The script was brilliant. There were no cliché moments, every scene and line felt essential to the plot. It was refreshing to see a drama where every moment held weight and significance.
One aspect I absolutely loved was the focus on a predominantly female cast. It’s rare to see such a dynamic, woman-centered story, and it was absolutely amazing! The strength, resilience, and complexity of these characters were inspiring.
What struck me most about this drama was how the main character never gave up, no matter what obstacles life threw her way. I’ve often felt beaten down by life, but watching her unwavering determination gave me hope. She held on to her dreams, and that inspired me to hold on to mine.
Quotes from the drama resonated deeply with me:
“Some might call me crazy for chasing after the stars when I should be busy finding a way to live. But to me, those stars are my dreams that help me survive.”
“I’ve got a team to perform with and an audience to watch me. So why should I be anxious?”
“You can chip away at the stone all you want. But without inspiration, you are only left with a piece of boulder.”
This drama wasn’t just entertainment.
It was a heartfelt journey that left me inspired, emotional and in awe.
It truly is the definition of a MASTERPIECE.

It didn’t even feel like I was watching two seasons because I finished it all in one go!
The show beautifully illustrates that everyone’s experiences, no matter how different, are equally significant. What we’ve been through is neither lesser nor greater than what others have endured.I love how the series takes a realistic approach, exploring how a person’s perspective on life evolves based on the experiences they’ve been through. This season was especially impactful as Captain Gu finally came to understand the victims' suffering. The character development throughout the series was phenomenal, and the villain’s character was so well-written and flawlessly acted—it truly hit home.
The characters’ personalities were so distinct from one another, and the main character wasn’t the only one who stood out as a hero. Each person had their own unique role to play. The cast lineup was absolutely amazing—from the villains to the victims and even the teammates. Every character played a vital role, and without this perfect combination, we wouldn’t have gotten such an incredible drama.
A huge shoutout to Jang Geun Suk and Heo Sung Tae for their top-notch performances! Jang Geun Suk’s deep voice was so captivating and his character was incredibly relatable due to its raw humanness and authentic acting. Lee Elijah embodied the raw emotions and struggles of someone in such a situation. Heo Sung Tae’s role as the main villain was outstanding! He perfectly captured the essence of a villain who constantly sees himself as a victim.
Loved the OST of Echae Kang - Neup
The ending was deeply thought-provoking. It made me realize how the experiences we go through shape who we are.
I especially loved how the villains received the endings they deserved, while the victims found some form of closure.
Finally, the show’s portrayal of fraud was truly eye-opening. It highlighted how fraudsters prey on victims’ trust, which is one of the most terrible things one person can do to another.
One of the best series out there!

Wow! Both Season 1 and Season 2 were absolutely amazing!
The cast, both original and new, was stellar! The diversity of characters really stood out, and while they all came from different walks of life, their shared commitment to justice and fiery-ness~ brought them together beautifully.I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and I have to say the humor in Season 2 really stood out to me. While I enjoyed it, at times it felt a bit overdone, almost like it was too much. but I felt that the cast was genuinely having fun together on set.
I did expect the tone to shift a little more towards seriousness as the story neared its climax, and I have to admit, the way Hong-Sik went down didn’t entirely meet my expectations because his actions didn't match his character. However, I do appreciate that this drama took a different approach—focusing on delivering justice properly through the law rather than simply having the bad guys meet a tragic end. That, after all, aligns perfectly with the core message of the show.
"Acting Mature Only Makes You Overly Cautious" - Park Kyung Sun
I learned so many lessons. As an overthinker, this helped me a lot to live in the moment. There were so many quotes that I truly want to absorb into my life.
I also loved how this season leaned more towards a lighthearted tone. Even though the villains were deeply evil, I found it refreshing that I could watch without feeling overwhelmed by 'ah-Stresss~'
The action scenes? Simply top-notch, as always! Every fight sequence was executed brilliantly, keeping me on the edge of my seat while showcasing the characters’ strength and skills. And that ending—oh my goodness!
I’m absolutely craving a Season 3 with this fiery team back in action! Team Fiery, please make it happen!
