I have questions. Is Yin Qing really a good person? I am feeling sus. Who was staring at her? Where is Fu Zhi? I am glad Zhi Li is assigned with Ting Hui and not with Lord Gu. He is giving creepy vibes. I need more He Du x Ting Hui scenes

Finally!

Ting Hui became the Zhuangyuan and was placed as the Director of the Censorate. I was laughing the whole fake drunk act. I can't wait to see her in power

Liang Yong Qiiii!! I loved his introduction. I can't wait to see the dynamics between him and Ting Hui. It's already funny. Ting Hui is a lil more cunning than I expected her to be. have to watch further before I can judge. It's kinda like 2 steps forward 3 steps backward between He Du and Ting Hui. Or maybe, she is deliberately making him stay away from her. Lord Gu is giving bad vibes. Maybe he is a good chancellor but as a person... idk.

Finally, she reached the capital. I wish they had shown more scenes of her in the academy and her preparation. We don't know how intelligent she is (in her studies), how she joined the academy, or her life in there. And Emperor CZY was owning the whole palace scene. Maaan, I love the roles he plays - smart and witty, easily captivates the audience. Again, I can't wait for Ting Hui to realise that he is the Emperor. Hopefully in the next ep :))

Usually when this much palace stuff is involved, it can get a little boring, especially in the initial episodes. World building and all. BUT THIS!!? OH. MY. GOD. I can't stop watching this.WUUUU JINNNN YANNNN omg she is sooo good

An amazing start

Loved this. The characters have great personality and depth. CZY & WJY, do I need to say anything? Great actors. I felt WJY's role is kinda similar to ther role in The Double. Complex, vengeful, determined, and funny too. CZY's role gived of Feng Suige (Fated Hearts) vibes too. Since I loved both of those characters, I think I'll love this too. Excited for what's coming next hehe

1000/10 cuteness overloaded

First time seeing Yujun this excited. Oh my godddd, finally!! The way he ran into Yeonjun's arms I AM MELTING. You can really see the improvement in TXT around Yujun. They are more relaxed and know what to do now. Yujun has also become comfortable with them.

I love how they are slowly getting closer. The comfortable bickering between them is so entertaining to watch.I was smiling ear to ear during the whole "polishing the research" scene. It was beautiful. The way he admires her is so endearing. Also, I love that she is getting more and more confident about herself. I see character development.

They're starting to warm up to each other. I love that Qian Fei realised the mistake she made of wasting all this time on a man and is ready to move on. I hope the talent and knowledge she has will help her in the future.

Brilliantly done!!

Every single frame is so beautifully shot that it makes me cry. Every scene has a meaning. The bgm and the way their surroundings are shown whenever they are together clearly remind the viewers of the restrictions they're facing. It's so subtle but so brilliant. WOW!
