I understand that Chu Zhao is the main character, but it feels like everything revolves around her. I would have liked her to be a stronger character instead of being portrayed as a victim so often. The male lead seems to exist mainly to support the female lead; ever since she saved him, it feels like he's willingly become her servant(in the best possible sense of the word). I wish he had a more central role in the story and that the plot focused on him a bit more as well.
I never thought these two actors would have such great chemistry together. Zhou Yiran is so handsome, refined, and of course this kind of role suits him perfectly. Chen Duling is amazing in villainous roles, but it seems like this revenge plot is absolutely perfect for her as well. I'm so excited to watch the next episode ,I can't wait to get off work and go home! ✨
My questions are: Is there even a single honest person in the whole series? Is there at least one honest cop who’s actually going to investigate this case? 😭 At first I thought the ML might be undercover, but after seeing these police officers… now I highly doubt it. 🤷🏻♀️
FL is really annoying... I'm about to drop this, only at episode 2. Should I drop or continue?
I dropped it at episode 6. If you like fluffy romance with a little bit of drama, then you should keep watching. But if you prefer more serious drama and less lovey-dovey moments, silly jealousy, and side characters playing games, then you should skip it (that’s how I felt).
At first, it gave me “The First Frost” vibe, but it’s not like that at all. It’s a completely different kind of drama. It only has the sleepwalking plot for almost two episodes, and that’s it.
