The action scenes are trash but for some reason I like this show anyway. Su Yin seems to have feelings for our little dope. Looking forward to the coming angst.
I never watch stuff like this but let me tell you….I LOVE THIS SHOW!!
Alan is so empathetic and mature. Dai is endlessly patient and amazingly self-aware for a 23 yr old. Shun is so fragile. He is high one moment with new love then closed off because he fears rejection/abandonment the next. And of course I love the other boys as well, though Ikuo the least of all.
My favorites are of course Dai and Shun. It’s really lovely how they learn to communicate and how their love for one another grows as they resolve challenges. They are both so young but Shun might have struck gold with Dai because, my God, that man is so gentle and considerate of Shun’s feelings. It’s romantic and heartwarming and I want them to live happily ever after together. The End.
Interesting start. Show wasn’t too heavy handed with the mystery and the main characters are all interesting and appealing. I like the pairing of both couples. Excited to see Doc alongside Great. I expect tons of chemistry.
May I just say how much I enjoy seeing Bas in his Daddy era. The NC scene was sexy but also managed to be tender and intimate. At least in the reciprocation and aftermath.
First time rewatching. Forgot how romantic this show was. So well done, everything from plot to acting, to character development. Surely one of the best from 2022.
I can see why people might be disappointed in this but maybe it’s been the right amount of time since I finished watching the original Story because for me this was a nice little return to the world of Qianlong’s family. Glad Princess got her retribution. Glad the shitty branch of Fu family got their just rewards (including seeing Drawing getting dragged posthumously for her sins). And it was fun to see Imperial Nobel Consort Ling in action again.
