I tried to watch 31 while on the treadmill. Literally almost ejected myself within the first minute of the ep. Thank God for the safety stop mechanism.
I have loved ZLY and LGX since PA. I’ve not seen him in much since but obviously my respect and admiration for ZLY has only grown with each masterful role she has taken on since. She is one of my favorite female cdrama actresses.
But both of their portrayals in TLOSL have just shattered the highest bar. Outstanding performances from both.
But I must say….LGX has been off my radar for a few years. He’s back on it now. The sexiest, most intensely masculine yet impossibly elegant man ever to hold a lead role in Chinese costume drama. I’ll have dreams about Xingzhi tonight, and his heavy breathing.
