Okay first of all let's change the term from Weak to Spoilt. Chihiro grew up in a middle class Japanese home while Keito didn't. Chihiro never expected his support system to give up on him so he had no one to cheer him on. To everyone it looks like you got yelled at and you didn't want to work again. To him it could be he had gone through it so many times that after his support system gave up on him and everyone around him doesn't think he can cut it even though he is trying his hardest that he have up. For me I would say it's brave no foolishly brave to actually go home with someone you don't know and not think that they might even kill you. (putting oneself in dangerous situations) signs of depression. I don't think you would do what he did you would definitely put up with all the bullshit at work so as not to leech on someone that isnt strong you are just compromising as the alternative for you would be worse.Same goes for people who think those who commit suicide are weak.Now you need to understand that Chihiro is a leech because of his previous 17 to 18 years(homemade bento box lunch kid) of comfort in his life anyone who would make his life easier he would go with them or who would give him the comfort he had previously he would go with them.Also don't disregard his mental health if he was with his ex lover(Shunichi) he may have had the strength to pull through and go on. How many people in this comment section that work (for an employer) and get shit from their bosses but keep saying to themselves all their insult is to make me strong but not feel depressed as they are trying their best.To be honest he is brave to have stuck with his identity because if he was really weak he would see the consequences and tell his parents he lied he just wanted to know what their reaction would be or that he was dared to no weak person would take his life.
