To me, a HE ending is where many don’t sacrifice themselves for main couple to live and stay together at the end. Cdramas these days have many casts dying just so main couple can have a potential life together in the end. In FoF, every death wasn’t for main couple but for their own beliefs, their own person/people or there was just no way out.

I loved how they change the ending dance every few episodes to include the guest cast from those certain episodes, including their changed outfits. ❤️

They were supposed to be the main couple but as you watch you can tell both got the shitty scripts despite supposedly being the main leads. They do got their sweet moments, and great chemistry from episode one. I guess you can say the main plot isn’t romance but more about friendship and the struggle to fit and understand one another. Each character has great chemistry with one another so you can ship anyone together. You can scroll and see many do ship the two, especially me. 🤣 Another ship some love is bl (the two male leads together).
