I’m super excited because three of my fav actors are going to be in a drama together (Neo as ml, LiFei and JianQi) but it’s that director. 😭😭 They prob won’t be treated right, director might be biased…I don’t want their fans to fight. 💔 I don’t want a love square. 🥲 Does anyone know if any other actresses has been named besides Nazha as fl?
Yes, some of us call her weak but look how well she did! WenXiao gained over 1 billion views on douyin at #9 and as the 3rd highest female character for 2024 list. ❤️
Girly your opinion so I won't argue with you but how any character gonna feel living hell Outta their loved ones…
Right?! They need the angst to draw in viewers too because some really love the angst these days in cdramas. 🤣 And if all just die together…no story, no point of many episodes. I saw a channel (was it Youku?) that’s supposedly cutting cdramas down to 12-16 episodes only or something; that’s when they can prob all die at the same time because not enough episodes to tell any stories of the cast. 🤣
Found this while scrolling fb. It describes Zhao YuanZhou perfectly.
“In Chinese costume dramas, male characters in black outfits holding umbrellas often represent themes of mystery, power, and elegance.
This visual trope is commonly used to portray characters who are enigmatic or possess hidden depths. The black attire signifies authority, restraint, or even darkness, while the umbrella adds a layer of refinement and poise.
The umbrella itself can symbolize protection or concealment, suggesting that the character has secrets or is shielding themselves from emotional or physical harm. The slow, deliberate movements of these characters, combined with the flowing fabric of their costumes and the graceful handling of the umbrella, create a striking and memorable image.
This trope is particularly effective in conveying a mix of stoicism and allure, making the character appear both untouchable and captivating. It is a staple in dramas that emphasize dramatic entrances, intense confrontations, or moments of solitude.”
The umbrella has now become my fav weapon for mls. 🤣❤️
No, only couple is fl and ml. But many ships is possible. Some prefer fl x ml while some like ml x 2ml etc. Romance, bromance and sismace is strong in the drama.
