This would’ve been one of the best kdrama ever IF they had followed the actual manhwa, manga, webtoon, whatever you want to call it. Instead they decided to ruin it with modern time, useless water god and stone faced fl who can’t act.
Don’t watch it. I love Meng and HeYu but their characters in there pisses me off. Selfish and greedy. Their ending was well deserved. No one can change my mind about it lol
Loved the ending. Main couple got what they deserved. She lost her family, found a new family but destroyed them with her greed and selfishness so in the end she got nothing. He betrayed his family for a newcomer so I couldn’t help but laughed when he tried to used a child and the child ends him. This is the best ending ever. 🤣Karma truly does exist even if you’re supposed to be the “good and main leads” in a drama. No one can change my mind on this even if you come at me in replies. ❤️

Nope, but there’s a historical traditional costume one where he’s the 3rd prince and she’s a noble girl and the real male lead is the first prince. In this one first prince has way more screen time so he’s more of a ml.
Yes, he just wanted her to be happy and safe even if it means not by his side. Loved how he wasn’t that crazy toxic second ml most Chinese dramas have.
It irks me how many refuses to see how much affection he has for her. I loved the way he looked at her and ZhuYan when the contract was mentioned (how ZhuYan will die if she dies), when they found out ZhuYan is the masked demon friend of WanEr, when the two were younger and each other’s comfort, when he came back to her when he became a demon and even smiled despite being in turmoil just because she was there waiting for him, etc. Loved how he cherished the flowers she gave him and gave them back because he thought he’ll die. It all screams how much he loves her but sadly she always drew a line. 💔

Since I’m still camping and lingering here, I’m rewatching FoF (finally) and still watching edits. Just gotta say I also love how YiChen looks at WenXiao, it’s so endearing. Maybe in another universe the two can be together. ❤️
