amazing show only up until the truth about the driver and his wife got revealed. then it became almost a whole different series, totally abandoning its core mysteries and what made it special in the first place. this was a story about our main characters getting stuck in a time loop but somehow became a family drama and a case from years ago. in the end, what mattered was never the mysteries themselves, but solving the truth behind the driver's daughter's death and that's all. a plotline that you can find in any random kdrama (and probably cdrama too). such a pity. if this drama was good, it would've been something like 'life on mars' where there were deeper, emotional plotlines involved but still the show did care enough to give answers to the questions and mysteries that attracted the watchers in the first place.
I bingewatched the first 7-8 episodes, but got extremely uninterested in the last few. I just think they should've stuck with the earlier premise of the show and had Kwon NOT be Gaetal, but instead someone who would actually help the police catch Gaetal because he understands his methods better than anyone else. The constant switching of who Gaetal might be eventually made me stop caring about the mystery altogether. One day it was Kwon, then Lee Min-soo, then Kwon again. And when it turned out there were multiple Gaetals, with Kwon, Ji-hoon, and the grandma as the main members, I knew I was done with this drama lol. Having a high schooler be the mastermind behind all of that? Where was the logic in that? Not to mention that the other Gaetals were basically background characters... this isn't how you normally do villains. They built up Lee Min-soo as such a major antagonist only to completely cast him aside. He wasn't even in the last two episodes. He really turned out to be a disappointing villain. The show also had a serious problem with annoying characters. I already knew Min and Ji-hoon would annoy me, but somehow they were even worse than I expected. At some point, I just stopped caring about almost everyone because nearly every character became frustrating to watch. I came into this expecting something closer to Beyond Evil in terms of atmosphere and characters, but it just wasn't. I mean tbh even at its peak, the show wasn't particularly unique. It was very obviously inspired by other crime thrillers (and I think Squid Game as well, with the masks and villains constantly acting like they're the only ones who see the bigger picture.) But with better writers, I think the concept could've been much more interesting. At least I'm happy with the first half of the show. It was a fun ride while it lasted. But yeah, I don't think I'll remember much about this drama in the future except for its catchy theme song, which was honestly the best thing about it.

in case you live under a rock, there are multiple personal photos of them when she was a minor. your dear oppa also first lied about dating her, then confirmed he dated her when she was an adult, and now he again says he never dated her. funny he keeps changing his claims, isn't it? and she killed herself on his brithday, clearly you don't do that for a stranger who never had anything to do with you. if you have a brain, i think you can put two and two together and see what's going on. but i doubt you have one... and you don't tell me to zip it. i and other people will never be silent because this is an innocent girl who's dead for a terrible man. not to mention there's also sulli. be ashamed of yourself! you crazy oppa lovers!

imagine calling a person you don't know to go seek a psychiatrist because they said something you didn't like about your dear favorite actor. idol/fandom culture really makes people go insane sometimes. i hope you're just too young and become wiser with time. that's the only thing i wish for you. good luck.
you have no issue beliving the fake news and the manipulated recording but you question and doubt the official…
i am not having this conversation with you. you have turned off your brain and logic due to your crush on a celebrity because he is handsome. i was once like you. but thank god i grew older. may you grow wiser too.
wow. kdramas aren't too far from korea's reality, after all... rich celebrities buying the police, playing victim in front of cameras with the fakest tears you'd ever imagine, lying and lying with no shame... truly a scary country for women and any victim who doesn't have enough money, power, and connections compared to their abusers. and the gangnam police, so correupted. you can't expect any better from the same police who were in charge of the burning sun scandal. poor saeron and her family. and sulli's family too. there's no justice in the world. well at least not in korea. pretty sure it'd go very differently had something like this happened in the west.
I agree that Asian dramas put too much make-up on the male actors. Even Idol groups like BTS. They don’t look…
"even idol groups like bts" you do realize heavy makeup is in fact rooted in idol industry, right? the fact that nowadays even tv industry is becoming like idol industry is a weird development, not the other way around.
I loved this drama and never understood why some people disliked it. To me, it was very unique and special. The idea, the soundtracks, the characters... they were all interesting. I watched it almost ten years ago (time flies!!) but I still would like to rewatch it.
i just randomly realized they’re making a kdrama adaptation of the remarried empress and i’m so confused lol. i’ve got such mixed feelings. like… it’d feel awkward if they didn’t adjust the vibes to fit a korean setting, but if they do, it might end up straying too far from what the original story’s really about. i just don’t get why you’d adapt something like this into a live-action kdrama. it would honestly suit an anime way more. but oh well, let’s see how it turns out. the cast is great at least.
