Wow! Never heard of that before. We all know over a billion of ML China funds movies and series world wide. Especially Taiwan shows including BL (Must have tragedy suffering etc) but this is the first time I am seeing the ML China as the country based On funding. Anything ML China funds comes with set guidelines no matter what country it's from. Even in my country USA all their requirements are in each film they fund majority of. Then again if it's chosen to air in China (much more strict) The Terminator too I believe. Honk Kong as of mid last year I believe lost their freedom Of expression. Many times in kdramas we see that one who thinks they are a failure or they need time to mentally recover go away and come back five or ten years later. Some 15-20 years later lol.
