I agree she had a tough character and she was strong. I have posted on it elsewhere here. No matter your age and decisions you make you should be afforded the right to walk home safely. It was a brutal episode but the recovery was good. Hopefully it will touch someone never to reabuse the abused.

I think she could have a one sided crush in her time 1995. That would be normal. We already know she likes funny and goofy. It may be why she was so inclined to invite him in so easily in their present and knew who he was. I wouldn't mind her one sided. I would not want precious minutes spent on him having any romance towards her. If nothing else, it's used as a conduit for him to meet her father so in the future the father old man will recognize this young boy and foster him in music and safe space as he did

People like that use / latch on to that as an excuse to give up. He was already giving up. He simply is not strong enough at this time. There are ones who simply can not fight for the right anymore and a few that can. It reminds me of a group of soldiers making a body ladder to get the soldiers over the wall. Sometimes the person on the bottom who helped everyone up is too tired to get over the wall and has to watch the others leave. We know the FL lead survives and makes enough to go back to the scene of her youth. The rest we have no idea how they will show it in the drama. My guess is everyone who didn't listen will not be ok lol
