Sorry to disappoint you but I think sun yuanzhu's ending might remain the same. Because in a way his suicide was one of reasons why shang zitao left luan nian. Also there's a clip where shang zitao was hugging sun yuanzhu and consoling him .
I think they are gonna tone down the male lead personality compared to the novel just like they did with the character…

I saw some clips in which lu xixiao was taking tranquilizers and he also had panic attacks . But i want to know was wan wan really fine all this time? I mean it's not like wan wan is made of stone right? Lu xixiao had atleast his friends & his aunt, but wan wan didn't have anyone. She didn't have had the time to be sad and cry . And from what I see it seema that lu xixiao didn't even trusted her, because if he did he would know that whatever she did For him wasn't a lie and she truly loved him so much. Don't even compare lu xixiao with sang yan . sang yan was on a totally different level even if he hated wen yifan for leaving him he atleast didn't make things hard for her and in TFF the situation was also very different. But here it was lu xixiao's own grandfather who told her to leave him. If he atleast tried to find out what happened he would have known but he didn't and he just blamed everything on zhou wan . I saw so many comments blaming zhou wan for everything and saying that while lu xixiao was suffering she was totally fine. I find this really sad.
