It really does not resemble SR. Not even a little bit. Both are different stories, different vibes, no copy, no…
I mean it's the same director and they have a small budget, so I guess we will see similarities. We can call it trend or the director's own thing :)

I loved Yoonsik's acting. I can't wait for his future projects.

Ehm... did you just like your own comment 13x in 25min? That's a weird thing to do. The traffic on this page isn't that heavy. I think you even gave me some likes too. Thx for that I guess.

In my opinion, this drama is adopting the Thai BL production model, not only through its more intense and intimate scenes (which are used as marketing events), but also through how strongly the lead actors are promoted as a pair outside the drama. Their physical affection = chemistry, interviews, and public appearances (private life = live streaming, photos, shared stories, time spent together) become part of the product (fanservice), extending the romance beyond the actual story. So the drama is selling both the fictional couple and the actors’ pairing, which is a major feature of Thai BL culture.

There are similar scenes and imagary, even fans on socials media pointed it out. It could be a cute signature of the director or she just reused things that worked well before. I won't go much into it detail (episode and min), cause I don't have time for this - the kissing scene, to the outside talking scene to the bed scene, etc. they all have the same vibes, acting and imagery. Just put them next to each other.

I respect the actors professionalism for going that far and the director for trying out something new. It's just that I'm kinda old-fashioned. For example, Cherry Magic is my all time favorite (no kissing at all). I want to see how the characters develop feelings and I wanna see their inner thoughts through acting.

I guess the director was experimenting and that's the right thing to do, but that also means that there will be criticism. It's a learning process that hopefully pays off for the next project.

Why is no one talking about how much this series resembles Secret Relationships (SR)? So many scenes feel copied rather than simply inspired. I feel like even the actors used SR as a direct reference.

Instead of giving this series its own identity, that repetition makes it feel uninspired and it also takes aways from what made SR so unique and original in the first place.

For me, this was a disappointing series that not only lacked creativity, but also relied heavily on cliches and spicy scenes. There was so much focus on excessive physical intimacy that I could't feel the actual romantic development that gives me butterflies. The AI elements were handled poorly too - it was so unnecessary.

They tried too hard to imitate Thai productions, but in doing so, it lost genuine emotional intimacy that make a love story feel meaningful.

Finally finished the show today. The favoritism on the show was honestly outrageous. Certain contestants were…
I rewatched the show recently, and it honestly hurt to see how happy, youthful, and full of life Junseo looked at the beginning. Later on, the stress was just written all over his face — he looked so drained and worn, like the pressure really took a toll on him. You could tell it affected him deeply. I really hope he gets some real time off to rest and focus on himself. He deserves a proper break and a chance to recover.

Person Kim Jun Seo
I’m so happy Junseo debuted in ALD1—he really killed it! But after watching Secret Relationships, I realized he’s such an amazing actor. He needs to do more dramas, we can’t afford to lose that talent!

I truly hope Junseo becomes the leader. No one deserves it more than him. His presence is unmatched — he always steps up and speaks out for others. We’ve all seen his resilience, the way he naturally guides the group and looks after everyone. He’s empathetic, sensitive and honest, the one who has cried for others since the very beginning. If he isn’t chosen as leader, then honestly, I can’t see myself accepting anyone else in that role. At the same time, I would understand if he doesn’t want to take on that role. After everything he’s been through, I know the weight and stress of being a leader could reopen wounds, and I never want him to suffer like that again. More than anything, I want him to be happy. But still… I can’t imagine anyone else as the leader.

Kangmin not making up to the lineup because he didn’t act in a bl drama and doesn't have bl fans backing him…
A drama might make you notice someone, but it’s talent that makes you stay. And that’s why Junseo's here. Mnet tried to tear him down with evil editing, drowned him in hate, and then almost erased him completely — cutting him out as if he didn’t exist. And yet, even through all of that, he never left the top 8. That’s not luck, that’s power. That’s talent. And no drama could ever give him that.

The favouritism is crazy . Just compare Brat Attitude and nb2h’s screentime, solo intros and the overall stage … if they do the same after they have debut then I will *****.

Okay... are you a Mnet staff or did I say something negative about your pick? Did you feel offended?

Of course, this is business — no one expects Mnet to run a charity. But that argument falls apart when you look closer. If the goal is to form the best group, then why do contestants with only visuals or average skills get pushed while stronger vocalists or dancers are sidelined or negatively edited? That’s not aligning with a concept — that’s manufacturing an image. The editing doesn’t showcase talent, it creates narratives that can make or break careers. In the end, what decides the lineup isn’t skill or fit, but politics, favoritism, and connections. Calling that ‘business’ is just a poor excuse.

Honestly, Geonwoo's treatment on this show says it all. No matter what happens, he’s always shown in the best…
There’s been a lot of talk about strings being pulled in Geonwoo’s case. Looking at the voting patterns, it’s easy to see why people are saying that. Same for two other contestants.

I will never forgive Mnet for what they did to Junseo. He became the prime victim of their so-called ‘evil editing,’…
Junseo’s popularity was a clear threat to their favorite pick... just saying

At this point, it feels pretty official that Mnet is trying to erase Junseo from everything possible. They skipped…
Junseo cried again at this elimination - you could see him from afar in pixels. He has cried at every elimination round - he really is a person who feels deeply.

Normally, during the ranking speeches, Junseo is someone who speaks very deeply, but since the incident he's kept his speeches as short as possible, almost like he's holding back and pulling away and that makes me really sad.

B2P is the most horrible survival show I've ever watched. The whole focus was just evil editing and bad energy - there was nothing genuine to feel. It's so obvious the show is biased and carefully controlled, deciding who gets screentime and how hey want to shape someone's image. Their favoritism and manipulation are so blatant it's practically spilling out of them.
