Since this was filmed in 2023 and considering the trends for dramas back then, I really have my fingers crossed that we'll get a special episode. I'm not asking for much. Maybe just a wedding/honeymoon scene from our leads, a nice little nursery decorating scene for Lu Ze and Jing Jing, and like a duo gaming scene between Dang Yu and Jun Cheng in their own home or something. Just a lil something to warm our hearts and tie a bow on this show.

Agreed. While I do agree that her reason for doing so is valid, that apartment was the place her and yifei made all of their memories together, and is also just a big financial decision. Something like that needs to be discussed with your partner. I do understand that she was weary after her relationship with WRH and wanted to test him some more, but this specifically to me just seemed a little more disrespectful more than anything.

Episode 30 already, and the leads are STILL not together. The slow burn is good, but I can't help but crave the potential of the CP with all the little morsels we're getting fed through the show. I pray the dating era and ending make up for all this waiting, or I'm going to be SO sad.

There was originally 40, but 4 episodes got cut. And the actor who originally played her ex had a scandal which was cleared up around September of 2025 I think but by that time they had already used AI to replace him so it was too late.

While the last few episodes didn't really make sense in terms of logic and other sci-fi related things I'm deciding to overlook it because of how satisfied I with the happy ending that we got for the romance aspect of things. Also the fact that there were 0 loose ends was pretty satisfying. Overall a 9.5/10 for me. It served it's purpose of brightening up my weeks with it's good comedy and romance.

I absolutely loved this drama so much, it's amazing!! But I'm a bit confused about the ending of the last episode... were those two kids playing in the military camp tent thing Xie Yan Lai and Cu Zhao's kids?? It makes the most sense that they are, but it seems kinda random to just add a clip of them playing with no other plot connected to it at the last 1 min of the show. I still love it though, 10/10 from me.

Yes, that's one of the main reasons I was happy when they announced the release date for this drama. I've been missing the olden vibes in dramas from the 2010s and so far this is pretty similar to that vibe i feel so nostalgic about.

Update: I finished the episode, and it really only seems to be the scenes with the ex that are all weird. He seems photoshopped in through a greenscreen every time he's on screen. I'm assuming that there was a different actor originally, but after production and editing, there was a scandal regarding the actor for her ex, which is why it got so delayed, and they spent all this time poorly photoshopping in this replacement. If anyone knows the reason why all of these scenes with this guy are weird, please respond because it's really affecting my ability to enjoy the show.

I'm 30 minutes into the first ep and for some reason I'm still not hooked yet. But that aside, WHAT THE HELL is going on with the scene between FL and her current bf??? It's so obvious he's been photoshopped into the scene! He's sm bigger than FL in terms of camera dynamics, the audio is choppy, and the camera quality is really low. The photoshop job is also really badly done if I'm being honest. I've been the biggest fan of WCR since FOMH and have been waiting for this drama to come out for years, but if the rest of the show is going to be like what I've witnessed so far... idk how I'm gonna be able to watch 40 episodes of it.
