Star & Sky: Sky in Your Heart (Adapted from a y-novel by Peachhplease, rural setting, country mouse/city mouse, rich/poor, enemies to lovers, directed by New)
Status: part of GMMTV’s 2022 line up, full trailer (2nd half)
Previously on BL: Mek was in the Kiss series as the male lead and has been with GMMTv for a while but this is his first BL, he is opposite a fresh face (I think) Mark, support cast includes Arm was in Friend Zone 2, and Mike in Tonhon Chonlatee and 2gether.
Thoughts: Chalk another up to GMMTV BL pokemon. Who’d have guessed Mek would do a BL? Certainly not me. This is a 1000 Stars sort of thing with a doctor who goes rural and falls in love with the local volunteer teacher.
Star & Sky: Star in My Mind (Adapted from a y-novel by Peachhplease, university setting, high school crush, jock/nerd, directed by New)
Status: part of GMMTV’s 2022 line up, full trailer (1st half)
Previously on BL: Joong was Ming in 2 Moons 2 and formerly one half of a VERY popular BL pair with his costar Nine (J9), Mek is from the Kiss series, I’m unfamiliar with the uke actor, maybe Aun (Folk from My Gear) and lots of fresh faces in a BIG cast.
Thoughts: I did think GMMTV was gonna make a play for J9 but I guess they just picked up Joong (apparently Nine is now a Cpop idol). Still, it’s awful nice to see that beautiful golden boy again. Yes, I think they are planning for him to be the next Singto. And honestly, who can blame them? This new pairing is cute AF, and I love a shy jock character. I’m all in on this one, even if it is a bit too classic 2 Moons Thai BL for some.
MORE OF THE SAME PLEASE. I didn’t get into BL for the gaddamn novelty of it.
Nope, and it's 2022. They probably dropped this series altogether. The two main leads here are currently working on "Rainbow Prince" which will be airing till the end of March of this year.
Haha. I saw the title didn't care to watch the first one and looks like I won't be with this one. I always find that the Filipino series has good-looking actors but falls short when it comes to the storyline. And it's disappointing cause I'm part Filipino. I get the budget but at least create a storyline worth watching all the way thru not the first 2 episodes then end up dumping it altogether. I only loved a few series coming out of the Philippines, these are fav so far: (curious? what's your take on these) 1) Hello Stranger: The Series & Movie 2) Boys' Lockdown 3) Gameboys: The Series & Movie 4) Like in the Movies(Gaya Sa Pelikula) 5) Oh, Mando!
This is one of the few BLs where the main couple is intersting but I wish everyone else would go away. Peat and…
Hahaa you're definitely on point with this!
I have one question is June a girl or a boy? lol. Why is there a 3rd couple?
King & Peat, not much time to understand them. I mean I like King but feels like his heart is going to break into pieces again. Humm.
Non - to me his like a little lost pup, cute and adorable but needs to find him a home in this case another guy to fall for, not a guy who has no clue you like him. I just feel bad for the guy. Shoot I'll take Non. He's adorably sweet like cotton candy. Haha
I enjoy watching Valen & Kaitoon they have great chemistry, seems natural that they belong together. But, eps 4 Valen causes a red flag with his possessiveness. Which I didn't like. I'm just thinking he's male body parts are exploding, get me. Lol.
Not Valen's possessiveness reaching red flag levels for a moment. 😧 Can't say it was worth the wait, but it's…
Yah that was definitely a red flag. I did not like when Valen did that. I think he's just lonely and protective of Kaitoon. Hahaa typical male has needs and please just a hug he wanted, Lol. They do look good in bed together and Kaitoon likes it more than he admits it. I do feel bad for Non tho the guy that lives across from Kaitoon. He's a cute guy but he needs to get over Kaitoon and move on. So many times Kaitoon bailed out on him. He's like a little lost pup. I think I would have gotten a clue by now.
I love Fame since I first saw him on "My Dream". He's so adorably cute. I wished his love mate on here was Taro Shatree from that series. But, I'm happy with Fluke he makes up for it, those dimples of his omgosh. :) The ending to 1st episode was instant chemistry! As that saying goes, you had me at hello.
Sidenote: they replaced three ppl from the original cast who oh why..one replacement is so hot(P'mayom) he plays the barista :))
ps I have the full eng subs for the three episodes and it's definitely on point..dm me
Found a link lemme know if you still need it.
