the story and acting seems forced

I’m on episode seven but I keep pausing it to play Toon Blast instead of watch the show. I keep reading reviews about the show saying it’s incredible but I have yet to see anything to draw my attention to it. I wanted to drop it on the first episode but I’m tired of adding to my drop list I’m trying to complete every time I start now but I couldn’t do it . I’m putting it on hold for now maybe I can pick it back up later but at this current moment it does not seem worthwhile and overrated.
