Just okay
The writing for the FL made you dislike her from the beginning. Being an introvert myself, it’s hard to watch people that invade other people’s space and privacy. That makes it hard to sympathize with her character’s personal struggles in the series. I tried to be open minded, but overall, it was hard to get invested in the story.Was this review helpful to you?
Nice try.
As a self-proclaimed introvert, stories like this are a bit triggering. Too much gossiping and interfering by coworkers to be truly entertaining. After a while I had to fast forward when the intruding coworkers appeared. In the real world, faculty spreading so many rumors would be disciplined or terminated. And the fact that the student body was included in the gossiping was cringeworthy. I would have rated it higher if all the negativity was eliminated.Was this review helpful to you?
Lighthearted fun
The movie was enjoyable. No girlfriend/boyfriend drama. Just enough humor. Finally shows that school can be a place to develop and nurture friendships. My only negative observation is the teacher/student violence aspect. I'm sure it's cultural, but teachers allowed to randomly hit students still triggers me a bit. Worth watching, so far
I agree with the doctor, not necessarily the teachers. Not everyone has an extroverted personality. As long as they perform the job well, they shouldn’t be expected to conform to someone else’s standards. The biggest problem is the teacher that involves herself in everyone else’s business, but basically accomplishes nothing special herself. The fact that she feels she has the right to question a doctor’s methods while having no medical experience herself, makes her seem a bit self righteous. That’s so annoying.
