Wait a second

I like the first part of this really much. It was starting on just great. Really.
I couldn't wait to watch the next episodes.
Liked the plot, the characters, the acting. I liked it pretty much especially compared to other dramas I watched recently. I found it so interesting and motivating.

I was worried because I'm pretty hard on dramas and when I like one so much I just know that it's going to be ruined in the last few episodes. I can tolerate some clichés and stuffs but with a limit.

______
SPOILER
_____

Love triangle? Unnecessary. So now Han Ji-Pyeong fell in love with her too? Why? I mean okay it was predictable but to me not that necessary. Just focus on a thing but do it well.

Okay Nam Do-San lied to her but for too long. I wouldn't mind it too much if him told her sooner.
Oh what, he tried but GUESS WHAT? Stopped by her grandmother because they casually met in the hospital so she made him promise to not tell he yet. Why? 1. Coincidences. I just can't stand those coincidences. They met and they remembered each other too? mmmh okay I'll let it pass.

Grandma you're so sweet but HOW can someone think this is a right thing? EVERYONE made a fool of her. Her grandma started it. It's just not right. I didn't like that part at all.

WHAT THE HELL went wrong in the ep 12?? I mean it's okay they've been scammed, I don't like when the main characters always find a solution for everything because it's just unnatural.
Yeah but come on, I HATE, absolutely can't stand when couples DON'T TALK TO EACH OTHER. Obviously she said those things to him to make him go but she could've just been nicer and find a solution together. All this mess and the group is falling apart. No, it doesn't make sense, really disappointing. So I just hope it'll fix itself because I'll be sad if Start-Up become the other classic dramas that ruins everything towards the end.

I'm sure now we'll se something like "three years later *

No, I don't care but it's not handled well and I don't want to see that so I'm still not changing my review until it's finished. Or if the next episode will be worst than the 12th maybe I will. I watched a week ago and I'm still angry.

It's okay that they leave, it's okay that now they're getting apart. They didn't read the contract and it's fair.
I would have liked a solution, yes. But it's not their separation that made me angry BUT how Dalmi handled it and voluntarily hurt him. What the hell seriously

If it was going to be like this why did you start this drama in the most beautiful way just to get our hopes be destructed.

I don't want to give this drama a low rating so PLEASE I hope it's going to be better.

---
I forgot to update this review. It ended okay but I still stand for what I said before.

* I was right, of course.

I can't even say "You should/shouldnt watch it" because everyone is different and maybe you like it if you're 10 years younger than me and you're not used to see many dramas / you're not still tired of clichés and useless stuff.

If reading me review makes you think our taste is similar I suggest you to choose another drama to watch.

I'm not sure of what I've watched

Nothing new. It's okay, millions of drama exist so it's okay if something it's repetitive, I guess.

I don't like when these supernatural stuff is seen as "cool" "sexy" bla bla I mean, I can't explain it well but to me it's been pretty childish. It's not THAT bad but it's just tiring. At least to me.

I had to drop it because I couldn't take it anymore. The story was actually interesting but I got irritated every time for how the main characters are handled.

Completely uninterested about the main love story, it didn't make my heart race not even once. I'm more interested in the two brothers.

Maybe when I relax a bit I'll finish those 6 episodes but I had to take a break from the characters.

LITTLE SPOILER
When she told her two friends/collegues whatever they are about the Gumiho and what they were in their past life I don't know, it just became ridiculous to me. With that attitude like "I know everything, I'm cool, I'm about to make your mind blow" STOP PLEASE.

PS. The actors did a great job, it's not their fault. Something had to be fixed. I'll try to finish it and in case id fix this review.

It's okay I guess, at least is not boring to watch.

Dramas like this are usually the most difficult to review for me because I don't like it but I do at the same time.

I usually can't stand super predictable dramas full of coincidences and stuff when at the first episode you already know where the plot is going. It's like watching every possible cliché in one setting.
How many random encounters.
Oh look, I met a cute guy at the book store. Oh we're in the same class, oh I met another boy totally randomly. Oh he's in my class too. Oh look he was the first guy I met best friend and now they hate each other! Oh, they both fall for the same girl. BUT it's still entertaining, its not so easy to make such a "boring" storyline interesting so I'll give them credit for that.
It's too much so I think it's made on purpose. I think I've never watched something that cringe but still pretty funny. But it comes from a webtoon I never read so I'm not sure about the original story.

Plus I'm still watching it so I'll edit it every time but I don't want to forget what I'm thinking at the moment.

A really light drama for now. I hope I'll increase the stars a bit while watching it.

BIG APPRECIATION: ep 4 "Extraordinary you" and "Parasite references. Aaaa great! I laughed a lot, totally unexpected!
UNPOPULAR OPINION: I lowkey wanted Im Jukyung and Kang Soojin to be together, really. But I think Korean dramas are not really ready for this.

I'll always have a soft spot for this drama

First, you have to take this drama for what it is. Really light and happy.

I've watched the Chinese one and I loved it for personal reasons, but the story made me so happy. The way it was made left me with hope and it gave me the strength to do something in my life I didn't have the courage to do and that choice made me happy. So maybe I like it "too much" for personal reasons.

So, the Korean remake.
Okay , its moving a little too fast compared to the original one. Many things are not explained and sometimes I've the feeling its like scene after scene trying to be as similar as possibile, so I don't know how they'll manage the other 20 episodes. Maybe things will slow down eventually.

Cast

SHE IS A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E. I love her smile so much, so much! I think they're good for their roles. I mean, I know both actors and I didn't think I could forget about the age difference but her cuteness makes me not think about it.

I think, unless they really mess up) I cannot put a rating lower than 8.5 because the story is really meaningful FOR ME AND FOR MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES.

I like them both a lot. My review can change tho
