I just finished ep 36 so I guess I’m almost there! I guess the wuxia shows I’ve watched I’ve been pretty lucky because they’ve all had a good deal of romance in them. That’s why I was so surprised that this show hardly had any. Especially when it’s added as a tag.

Yet they’re getting used by all these masters before and are still in one piece afterward xD it’s like dang girl wth!

They gotta stop giving her swords at this point. “Ah Fei is coming, quick hide the knives!!” Going around destroying everyone’s precious family heirlooms.

I found the show to be really painfully slow and dull and I’m SO bored. It’s like 90% about fighting strategy and rival clans. (And that’s cool and everything I love that stuff but its dominating the entire show. At this point I’m pretty offended that “romance” is even tagged for this show) I keep pushing through because I’m waiting for the romance. But I’m on ep 32 (for the love of God) and there’s only been a small handful of touching moments and not even ONE kiss!! The thumb kiss scene was cute and they’ve only hugged like maybe twice and they weren’t even intentional hugs. I am way out of patience at this point but feel I am too far in to fully give up.

oh my gosh, just finished episode 4. this show is SO good. like best show i've seen in a long while and I typically only watch shows with a love story and this doesn't have one (yet maybe) and i'm freakin in love!!!

Started strong then went off the rails, hard. Do San is a whiny child who always plays the victim even when he is in the WRONG, Dal Mi is so wishy washy I just cant stand her. I just want to shake her and scream MAKE UP YOUR MIND. And as much as I loved Ji-pyeong (the only thing I liked about this show) he never actually stood up for the relationship that he wanted with Dal Mi. Even after that moment of "I need to take charge and get what I want", he flippin didn't! This was a huge disappointment ALL AROUND.

Yes! Watch this!!! I watch the first two episodes and I’m absolutely in love. It’s so funny yet it has good action and heart

Wow...what the actual f*** with that last episode. That BS came out of nowhere. Ruined the entire show. What a waste of my time

Wow... i’m pretty sure the female lead is the worst actress I’ve ever seen in any drama I’ve ever watched... Way over acting and over reacting to every single situation and she’s a complete asshole the first four episodes... I don’t think I can keep watching this... yikes

I actually dropped My Roommate is a Detective because there wasn’t enough romance to keep me interested and plot was slow for me. I’m shamelessly motivated by love stories haha. And I love action/mysteries with a bit of romance. But I totally understand how that can annoy others Plus the girl in Roommate was really annoying xD

Probably for people like me, if there’s no love story then I’m not interested no matter what the plot or how great the acting....

Started off funny and spunky then got slow and where the heck is the romance? ?? On ep 26 and still no kiss, or even a hug. I’m bored. FL is kind of being a distant jerk and I’m over her character right now :/

An easy to watch cute show. However the last 5-6 episodes were completely useless, unnecessary, and painfully boring. I’m really really confused why it kept going. I skipped through it just far the sake of finishing it.

Wtf with that ending?! I feel like I just wasted all this time to get that... then watched the last ep of Parellel and that made it juuuust slightly better.

In the Chinese version there is a season two where they meet in the modern time. But the reviews for it look really bad so I haven’t watched it yet :/

I thought the title was dumb so I wasn’t interested but I watched the trailer anyway and the trailer looked super interesting. But then the plot ends up being super super slow and the last episode was extremely anti-climactic. Very disappointed.
