Can't you write your point without the subtle lesbophobia?
subtle lesbophobia??? this is from a meme "mama a girl behind you" and I made the comment after ep 4 when they were all planning to make each other jealous lol where is the lesbophobia
Decently lovely show but dear God all they had were $5 and a dream. the cgi is so painful it made me want to jump out a window at multiple points. the plot and pacing are okish though a bit over the top. i went in with high exceptions after reading the comments and the ratings but it was pretty okay tbh. nothing revolutionary although I like that it wasn't stereotypical atleast. It took me several days to watch this because I just did not have it in me to sit down and watch the whole thing at once like I usually do because I kept laughing at points where they were trying setting up a serious scenario but man are their timings off sometimes. give it a watch if you like mystic elements in your stories and don't mind a bit of extravagant melodrama.
this show is kind of all over the place. the plot makes practically no sense and half the time you want to smack joe in the face for his decisions. he really CANNOT catch a break no matter what he does. Ming irl would definitely be slapped with a restraining order and countless hours of therapy but this is fantasy so anything goes ig. love that they're making toxic yaoi real on screen. all of that being said, i require a second season of this like yesterday because it may be a mess but god damn is it entertaining.
this was presented as a lighthearted silly goofy show but the characters have insane depth and all of them are so well written. it completely took me off guard how they handled the tone shift into the second half of the show without sacrificing any of the character's existing traits! absolutely 10/10 recommended
