I can but wonder what qualifies someone for one of the categories when a well-known and versatile actress like Yeom Hye Ran with countless movies and dramas in her resumé wins "Best New Actress (Film)", which to me kind of sounds patronising or desperate to give her an award at best, and - not to diminish her success or her prowess as an actress, I'm sure she was brilliant, too, and earned the award - a real newcomer wins "Best Actress (Film)" for her very first role.
Maybe there's something I'm missing here as an outsider looking in? Maybe the category doesn't have any meaning and it's just that you got an award?
If I'm honest this story alters my view of PMY, I think it might have repercussions. I don't see why we shouldn't…
Asking question is always good - BUT: "If I'm honest this story alters my view of PMY, I think it might have repercussions." You haven't had any answers, but are gladly making up your mind about her and her involvement in the fraud. Ever heard of "innocent until proven guilty". Maybe tread a tad more carefully here?
