I just feel like we shouldnt expect high art from a bl series, I think it aims to be a feel good/entertaining kind of series, and I don’t think the way they’ve delivered their commentary on toxic bl industry traits was problematic (I get where you’re coming from) what they’re going for on the commentary is more satire, but the fact that they even talk about it at all is already good, and it doesnt seem forced considering it coincides alot with the plot and the main character, gene,
