Finally, i was able to painfully finish watching this. I watch a lot of BL series and some are messy but this one is definitely my least favorite. I took note of both the director's and script writer's names so I'd know which series should I not watch next time.

Same question here. I thought it was Ren Yu who drowned himself after he recovered. That was my impression on the first few minutes of the film. But then, it was shown repeatedly. Maybe it was used to transition from one subplot to another. I dont know. :)
