Given the synopsis, Ye Li’s Xu family isn’t part of the drama. Based on the few videos, Xiu Yao is attending court which he didn’t do in the novel. His former fiancee Su Zuidie is in the drama. You’ll see Xiabao

I, too, am super happy about Bai Lu and Cheng Lei. I agree with you, they are perfect to play Ye Li and Xiu Yao. It will be a great drama for. Of course, it’s only based on the novel, meaning they can change the story. But being a long novel with so many characters and plots, I meant it would have to be a two seasons.
